I won't be able to buy it for another week or two...
is "the college years" a different game than front office football or does it come with the package?

Not 100% sure that I'm going to buy this game yet - but I'm probably going to get in, especially if we can get a nice group of SLO people as the core of the league.
I'd like the niners if and when this thing does get off the ground

Yeah, this is going to be the game. It's gonna be awesome when we get it going, but unfortunately it's so in depth that you have to have a copy of the game. I just spent the $39.95 and I love it already. If you're a REAL football guy and love everything about the strategy of the game this is for you. There's not any kind of setting that can't be made for your team.

Probably take New Orleans off the board. I'm still trying to decide between the Cards and the Saints. My favorite team is the Steelers but another big Steeler fan is going to be in the league so I will let him have them. I like the Cards base offense which I use in Madden with the Steelers of course but having Reggie Bush for his entire career would make the Saints a team for the future.

It's made by the same developer and you can import the draft classes from the College game into Front Office. You have to buy it seperately but it's also an excellent game. I had it about 4 years ago and it was addictive as hell. The recruiting is intense and you can actually try and bribe players. You can also get caught doing it and get put on probation.

This has to be better than Football Mogul, right?
You know what would be cool? An alternative league where the USFL lived, and you stock the teams from scratch from computer generated players.
