Injuries happen to everyone that plays. The collarbone injury was a freak injury. Marshall Faulk and Terrell Davis were "injury prone" too and they ended up to be ok. I would have been happy with either Quinn or Peterson at that pick...but I think it's too early to give up on Jackson and Peterson is a game changer, so Peterson makes sense.

I wish we would have drafted meachem, but at least I'm starting to warm up to Griffin. Titans need to get on the phone and make some trades after losing our top WR and RB and Pacman

well, yes if he had only injured his collar bone once but he did it twice and it was not his only injury....that combined with his upright style and what the vikings need all combine this for a poor pick in my mind....I think the vikings got caught up in his hype......the vikings continue to struggle in the draft....from missing their pick to reaching for Williamson to trading up to get Javaris Jackson when he was a reach at their original pick......and Ryan Cook was picked too early last year also....this actually all makes me happy....I am not a fan of Childress and I think he has shot himself in the foot with this pick....... he just added depth to a position where they did fine last year and did not address any needs with the pick

Freshman year Peterson played missed time due to dislocated shoulder.....Sophomore year missed time due to ankle sprain and missed a game for skipping classes and Junior year broke his collar bone a third of the way through the season and then comes back for the last game of the year and reinjuries the collar bone......and as an upright RB it is only going to be a matter of time until someone cleans his clock and injures him again
Yes, anyone can be injured but it would be nice if he would have made it through one season with out getting injured..........obviously we disagree....I think the Vikes have continued there poor drafting and you like the pick..... the last great vikes pick was when the took TE Jimmy Kleinsasser out of UND....ok that is a biased statement also

Williamson is a bust, no doubt. Hopefully Greenway can recover from his injury and be a solid addition to the team this year. I am hoping for Jarrett or Steve Smith coming up here in the second round...

What exactly makes a runningback an "upright runningback". Is he suppose to run on all fours instead?

beck, damit i wanted trent edwards I'm reading good stuff about Beck. I don't like the Ted Ginn Jr. pick still, but alteast we have a QB that can grow with us now. But damnit Cam, why Ted Ginn Jr? You introduce him to the Dolphin fans and tell them that he's gonna be a spectacular returner and don't mention at all that he's a WR....that doesn't make you a fan favorite.

running upright as opposed to getting low and running your helmet/shoulders into the defense. Running upright leaves you open for bigger hits since you aren't protecting your body as much

True, good stuff about beck, BUT he's like 25/26....

anybody know anything about RB chris henry? Seems he's done nothing, shouldn't have been drafted so high, but put up some impressive athletic numbers at the combine
