No shit. It's the finale. I forgot the last 2 seasons would have just 16 episodes. Fuck! That means how many months without lost this time? 7? Damn!
Lost season finales are the best of any shows I remember. They really make you wanna watch next season right away which I believe is the goal of any season finale. Let's see what happens. They are probably going to blow the bomb and although that doesn't change the future, it still makes them go to the present time. I mean, I don't see the 70's timeline keep going.

the locke is jacob theory is one a lot of people are pimping, but the producers have actually said the guy who was jacob in that scene was a stage hand, but the producers have been known to lie, and understandably so.
I think the finale is gonna be beasting, also i think the bomb could have a relationship with the ability of the dharma initiatives women's abilties to have children, b/c we know from last episode that the bomb is directly under their camp.
Also, how disappointed will people be if jacob is just somebody we dont know at all or is not real???

do you think we will ever start to figure out who his wife (i.e., the kid's mother) is in How I met Your Mother? they've now teased us with 2 different girlfriends..... lost season finale wed....should be great.... Last night's episode of HIMYM had me scratching my head as well. The previous episode emphasized how if he hadn't done this and that, he would have never met "the mother." But nothing in yesterday's episode even hinted at him meeting the mother or Stella's role in the ultimate process at all. I knew it wasn't going to be Stella but I thought Stella would at least introduce him to someone or something. Nice to see Alyson Hannigan back from her pregnancy though. The season finale FINALLY talks about the legendary goat! I found it interesting when they mentioned how Stella and her hubby (can't remember his name right now) moved to LA, that her husband had success writing a script for a movie about a wedding, to which older Ted (Bob Sagat) says something along the lines of, "but more on that later". Yeah, that was a terribly written sentence. Suck it.

So do you think faradays mom was so pushy to get everyone back to the island so jack could blowup the bomb and stop her son from ever getting to the island and getting shot by her?
If so, and if jack blows up the bomb and changes the future, I think the 2nd plane crash that sent them back in time will be the course correction and they will wake up in 2007 in the makeshift infirmary after the 2nd plane crash.
Also, what do we make of this new group who knocked out the pilot and asked about the shadow underneath the statue and also came in contact with the guy that speaks to the dead before he got to the island. I'm guessing that group will be the focus of next season.

If you look at the site/poster, I feel like the movie is simply going to be about the love triangle of Stella, Tony, and Ted (like every other romantic comedy movie in the world) www.weddingbridemovie.com/

To add a little more to the Jacob is Jack prediction, they said in a previous episode that Jacob had a list of all of the survivors of Flight 815, except that Jack's name was missing.

Zack, as far as the course correction, that is an interesting idea i never thought of. I think those people who asked about what is behind the shadow and were talking to miles work for Elloise in the present day. Thats the only other person i can think of, they arent widmores people and they arent ben's people, so that leaves only her right?

well fuck...it blew up.
And jacob said "they are coming" you think he meant the other survivors in the 70's? Maybe the bomb going off triggered another "event" and shot everybody back to the future??
All in all a bad ass episode, all though the idea of "jacob" was a bit of a let down, but i think obviously we have to learn a great deal more about him as the show finishes.
Holy shit only 16 episodes left....and 7 months till the next one!!

*contains spoilers*
A great season finale to an overall "ok" season of "Lost".
I liked the Jacob character and how Ben handled the situation at the end, Michael Emerson has really done a sensational job at creating all types of sides and dimensions to Ben Linus. I thought the end with Juliette was pretty ridiculous, but I guess it had to be in there the way things unfolded. How much has Sawyer's character changed since Season 1? He's no longer a smart-ass, it almost seems like Josh Holloway is overacting, but I think it may be he's trying to fit the script's demand to bring out more of the dramatic and serious aspects of Sawyer's character out.
Not my favorite season of "Lost" to be sure, but still pretty good. I still remain in the minority that the best season finale was last season, when the island just flat out disappeared, I thought that was just insane.
Still excited about Season six, I just hope they don't involve more characters, they need to cut that out, focus on the core, maybe expand on the Frank Lepidus's and Miles's once in a while, but I hope next season sticks to giving the answers. I have faith in J.J. Abrahms though.

great season finale, IMO......
i liked the jacob storyline b/c it affirms the thought that the group was on that plane for a reason....they were handpicked.....
the story started off great by being back in the 1400's (or somewhere around there) and showing Jacob and apparently his rival awaiting the arrival of the Black Rock, which Richard was probably on....
next year we will learn more about jacob and his rival and why they were on the island.....it has to do something with the egypt due to the statue and writings and such.....
and ya, i'm guess the crew makes their way back to present, but I don't think that means they changed the future....miles is right, the bomb was the incident.....
sad to see julliete go....i liked her alot.....
i'm always amazed at the great people they get to play older and younger people......that small Kate was a exactly like Kate....even same mannerisms....
locke falling out of that box was great......
do you think they will show us how jacob got back and forth from the island?
and dan, JJ Abrahms doesn't have anything to do with the show anymore, right? I was under the impression, he hasn't had anything to do with the show since like season 1 or 2....it's been the 2 guys on those recap shows.....JJ might still be listed as an executive producer, but I don't think the storyline is his at all....i may be wrong though....
going to be a long 7 months.....dang
