yeah, looking like VY needs to put back on the pads??
Texas D will keep it close, but without McCoy texas has no chance, looks like he is done for sure, his dad just left the stands and went to the locker room.

14-6
rout is on
texas can cover the bama pass but can't tackle their rb's
unless mccoy comes back with a bunch of crap shot into his shoulder, they won't gain another 30 yards this game

you gotta think that most other top 10 teams have better backup qb's
right?
you have 80 freaking scholarships to give out.....the best backup qb you can do is a freshman that has arms skinnier than tayshan prince?
take a cue from usc......their backup qb's get to start for the chiefs

last play of the half was comedic gold.....
with 80 scholarships, I can't believe having 2 competent qb's wasn't thought about.....
i bet bama, florida, ohio state, usc, etc, all have better, more experienced backup qb's

yeah, this guy is TERRIBLE.
anybody watch the half, what the fuck was corso saying? its like he was drunk mumbling about something, and pete carroll was laughing, i think corso is drunk on the set.

and now it is a game....
helps that texas has had the ball for 95% of the 2nd half......eventually passes will be completed....
3 point game....will bama still be content to go 3 and out running the ball again?

So after thinking about the whole USC situation, and who they should hire, I thought of the perfect guy..................
Herm Edwards!
This is a guy who is exactly like how Pete Caroll was before going to SC. A guy with some success at the NFL level, but nothing to go crazy over. However Herm Edwards is a smart coach, who has a great personality. He goes over very well, rather it be on ESPN's First take, or a pre game show. He has that Pete Carroll swagger that I think will translate well with 18-22 year old kids, who will think he's the coolest guy ever for coaching in the NFL for 5+ years. Edwards could bring in great NFL past vets from his Jet days, and as well as his KC playing days.
I think this would be SC's best pick, because he is Pete Carroll 2.0, and the city and players would be whatever it is that he's selling

i wonder if the Jeff Fisher is a serious candidate? Despite winning 8 of the last 10, the titans are in for a rough off-season IMO. He might decide to leave while there is a nice oppritunity like that on the table.

they actually did contact herm edwards.....
USC is grasping at straws....
they wanted Oregon (or Oregon state, i forgot, all those crappy pac 10 schools run together) coach....then harbaugh at stanford....then they ex-usc guy at washington....then peterson at boise (maybe that order is off).....then jeff fisher....
and now they are focusing on either jack del rio or herm edwards....
hahahahahahahaha

They losing players or what? yeah, sevearal on the defensive side, PHDsims probably knows a lot better than I do. Then the decision on VY. Whether or not to bring him back, and if so, at what cost? Keith Bullock I know is up, I think KVB is too. Kearse is probably gonna retire, he was inactive the lsat couple of games I think. He is old anyway. Bullock tore up his knee, so he will probably be back b/c no one else will want the risk. I hope he can come back and be servicable, he has always been a Titan. C Mawae and S Nick Harper are also up and both are old-er. But I could potentially see both back. Bascially the whole defense needs to be re-evaluated. Injuries killed the secondary all year, so its hard to gauge where they are at actually. I think Fisher said on the radio show that usually roster turnover is ~20% each year, but I would be surprised to see that # creep closer to 40% for the Titans this year.

Most of the titans D will be replaced
bulluck is a FA and hurt...not coming back Harper is gone....good riddance thorton will get cut kvb is a fa and will only come back if he signs cheap...probably gone kearse is gone hope might get cut griffin sucks...was worst safety statitically in NFL...won't get cut though all the backup dt/de are likely gone Tony brown is fa and might get resigned tulluck is rfa and will be brought back
on offense, mawea is done, and at least one guard will be gone
scaife and crumpled are likely out at te
other than that, the O looks similar returning
but D may bring back only a few starters from last year. Finnegan, griffin, tulluck. And the nickel back. Whole new dline if knuckle head Tony brown leaves. And 2 new lb's.

WOW...that's crazy...what happen to those safeties, didn't they both make the Pro Bowl the previous year? I know Finnigan did as CB.
And I'd say VY is an easy decision...he played his best this past year and he's a winner...his career record proves that. That's 1 less thing to worry about in the draft.
