The Seahawks big wigs were on the radio today, and it sounds like were going to be packing it in this season. So much so, that our two first round picks could very well be two Offensive Lineman. I understand that the Hawks aren't a player away from being great. However seeing how were in the NFC West, and the only team we would be competing with is the 49ers (IMO), why not go for one last hooray with Hasselback at the helm? Why not sign a defensive end, and a corner? Why not draft a CJ Spiller, and hope for a Joe Haden at 14? Why not make a run at Carlos Dansby?
I could understand if this was the NFC East where 10-6 might not get you in. But this is the West where 8-8 has locked it up for the past 3 seasons.

I'm reading/hearing your Hawks are really considering signing Brandon Marshall to an offer sheet That'll be at the expense of the #14 pick.
Thomas Jones is not going to re-sign with the Jets.
Bears are having a nice opening day of FA.
I'm happy with the Lions moves so far. KVB and trading for Corey Williams...Williams returns to a 4-3. Nate Burleson will make for a good compliment to CJ. I wonder if we go with Okung at #2 now??

I saw if they sign marshal it would be the #6 pick going to denver. Yeah I just saw that too. I'm not sure I would do that before the first 5 picks are made. That could be the difference of landing Eric Berry, or Russel Okung. Plus at 14 I'm not sure if the drop off of Dez White is that much more, to where we don't need one of the guys mentioned above. I would really like to see us use 14 on CJ Spliller, if somehow he is still there. So if we can assure Spiller would be at 14, and were going to address the line, and secondary in FA. Then I'm coo with giving up the sixth pick. Otherwise I think we need to evaluate where we are as a franchise, and what we would be sacrificing to sign Marshall. I also saw where Denver can agree to take the 14th pick if they chose. So if that is a sticking point for the Hawks, and the Broncos are so eager to move Marshall that they don't mind moving down 8 spots, then the Hawks can keep pick 6. Lets hope for that

seeing boldin just went for a 3rd and 4th rounder trading the 6th overall pick for Marshal seems retarded.

Marshall is way better then Boldin. I see what you're saying but with Seattle's situation I'd give one of those picks to get Marshall.

Will Witherspoon to Titans. Dude has shown some great flashes in his career with not much around him on the STL defense. Sad to say its going to be a similar situation for him this season, our defense is "bombed out and depleted".
Aaron Kampman to the Jaguars? Who the fuck do the Titans have at DE? Jacob Ford and William Hayes? How about some David Ball action? Ya, that dumbass that did the turkey celebration vs. the Lions on Thanksgiving '08. Listen, Bud, your'e about to fucking die. If you are still worried about making money sell the fucking team, if not, and you ACTUALLY want to give Fisher some talent to work with, go out and fucking sign someone that can make a fucking play on defense. I know we have the draft to get some defensive players, but do we actually think we can beat Manning with a defense full of turkeys, rookies, and guys named Sen'Derrick? I fucking hope not.
