We will have some double players in the beginning only. Here is how i plan to handle it. 1. No team can have or trade for a player they arlready have. 2. After the player retires, if there is still a younger version of that player in the league, he will not re-enter the draft. He will re-enter when the last version of him in the league retires. At that point we have only one of that player. And also, at that point, alot of other great players will be in the league that were not in it previously. how will we handle the draft??? if there are 60 picks........i dont believe 60 players will retire maybe........all 2nd round picks are forfeited??? and only 1st round picks matter? and only 29 players in the draft?

Well, if you make a list of every all-star, every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teamer, every player to score over 15 points, or 5 assists or 7 rebounds for 3 consecutive years, It gives about 5 seasons worth of drafts.
After that players should be added by retirement.
The NBA was full of players, I wont run out.

My first choice would be the 77' Blazers if you don't have them then the 91' Blazers. I get one of these teams I'm in.

Question if 87 lakers have say Magic Johnson and 82 lakers have Magic Johnson will their ratings be the same? or 82 johnson will be worse but with better potential?

Ratings are based on the players stats for that year alone.
Potential will be estimated off of career growth and length after the year from which the stats are taken.
There will be one or two exceptions to that.
