Again from the IBA, this is the logo from the Salina Rattlers. I like how the basketball is used as the rattle, and a snake is usually always a good move for a team name (vipers, cobras, pythons, etc.). Pretty basic logo, basic team name, but not a bad logo.

This is a logo for the Owensboro Showboats back in 2002 in the NABL - the National Alliance Basketball League. Kinda like the "showboats" name as that is applicable to basketball. It's a little different and it works, to me.

This team is the Halifax Windjammers from the NBL that was in existence from only 1993 to 1994. Crappy name but I really like how simple it is compounded with the fact that the basketball was used as a sail. I really like that part a lot and that's what stuck out to me.

Time to revive this thread! (oh god, says everyone...) This is from the NWBA - the National Wheelchair Basketball Association: The Hornets logo kind of made me laugh. I just like seeing the hornet in the wheelchair. Whoever designed that did a good job. It seems this league was affiliated with the NBA as they share the NBA team names. I'll go over more of them over time...

This is one of my favorite logos. It's of the Connecticut Colonels of the United States Basketball League (USBL). The Colonels are no more but the USBL is. It's a semipro league and Manute Bol played in it once for the Rhode Island Gulls (who are also no more). But I just love this logo. Basic, but a good design, and I love the basketball coming out of the cannon.
