good - i hate the pistons, and I hate their moron fans.
Finley is good news for any team and I'd hate the Pistons to ever have good news.

Stork you need to chill out. Count to ten, calm down, pack a bowl and just relax. Enough of this negative energy i feel from you from this message board.

i think finley will end up on spurs or sonics Sonics? Sonics are basically no longer contenders, being that they lost the real fuel to their fire last year in Nate McMillan. I think Fin will either end up with the Heat or Spurs, hopefully Spurs, cuz he won't get any playing time on the Heat with Snaq.

What would Shaq have to do with Finley getting PT? They play two totally different positions.

wow - you're saying Nate is the only reason the sonics were good last year? you're in for a surprise Never said he was the "only reason", just said he was the main reason they were very good last year. Plus, who do the sonics have this year signed on so far? Rindour, Allen, Lewis, Evans, Potapenko, Fortson, and Wilkins, 7 players? Plus, Nate developed that whole run and gun system basically and worked it very well when he put Rindour in that starting 5, I have questions to as if the assistant coach taking over will do this as well as Nate did. I just don't think Sonics will be a contender like they were last year

i don't think the sonics were ever a contendor last year - the contenders were the pistons, heat, spurs, and suns.
I think they will be good - probably not as good since they lost some good pieces, but they still have their core and should get Vlad-Rad back, unless some stupid team overpays for him so I don't see them finishing worse than 3rd - since they'll probably win their division again

If they get Vlad Rad back, the Sonics should be good again, but where does Wilkins fit in now? He was huge in the playoffs for them and they matched a pretty hefty offer (for a player of Wilkins caliber anyway) for him, so they might need to balance their minutes out better. My mistake also, they signed Rick Brunson, who's pretty descent. Overall, that division doesnt have a whole ton of competition, seeing the Wolves had a fluke season 2 years ago (and traded Cassell AND a first rounder for an unproven Marko Jaric and little used Lionel Chambers this offseason), so seeing their division, the Sonics might very well win it, but they won't be as good as last year, just like the Suns, but thats a different story.

Wilkins is a very good player - and they got him for cheap. He knows how to play the game and that is more important than flashy-skills that most people value these days.
I don't think coaching is as big of a deal as most do - if you have a good squad then they'll play good.
Nate's only had 1 good season coaching, before last year everyone thought he was an awful coach. I think seattle was thinking about firing him.
Maybe Nate was a terrible coach, and he was just holding back the sonics true talent last year. We have no idea - and I don't pretend to know.

Evidently he's narrowed it down to San Antonio, Miami, Phoenix, and Minnesota...wit his decision coming within the next 2 days.
