Being a big Dodger fan I love this trade. Penny gives the Dodgers the Starting Pitcher they need.
I have also heard rumors that Penny, Werth, and Murphy will be traded for the Big unit and Steve Finley. I hope they don't do this one. I would rather have Penny in the long run than Randy Johnson.

Nomar to the Cubs in a 4 team trade, that was the biggest trade.
Yankees got Loaiza from the White Sox for Contreras.
Dodgers also got Finley from Arizona.
Lot more noise this trade deadline than expected.

sucks for the red sox, nomar is dominate. The two players they got back are pretty good though. Cabrera could be the next great SS.
I have penny on my fantasy team so I love him going tothe dodgers. I just hope the dodgers win 1 every 5 games.
GO GIANTS

Giants are Awesome (BONDS ALL time MVP including hank aaron) another ignorant pre-teen comment. Bonds is great, perhaps the best ever, but you're basing your entire thought on what you've seen, which is what you do with all sports, which is why you need to just go watch ESPN classic for 4 straight years then come back and talk sports with those of us that know what we're talking about

i hate it that (some) athletes today think they have to go on steroids to get better... just play the game with your God-given ability, don't ruin it...

If Babe Ruth was on steroids with that gut, then he was doing something wrong.
