We got a movie thread going, might as well have a music one. I just got the new Lil Wyte album. Don't like it as much as his other album, but still has some good tracks, like all 3-6 produced albums. I want to get the latest T-Rock album, but they don't have it down here, so I might get the Koopsta Knicca album. Still waiting on the new Mr. Sche, was supposed to come out in the summer, but it hasn't come out yet. I'm guessing most of you have no idea who any of these people are, but they're all local rappers, so I got to support them.

Yeah, Memphis has a pretty big rap scene. A lot of rappers without a big record deal. Although, Wyte's with 3-6, so he'll probably be getting some more airplay.

playa fly and GB are probably the best of the 3, but that's an old song, early 90s. Lil Wyte has the best production, though. T-Rock is more about lyrics than beats. Lil Wyte is the most accessible to the mainstream, the others are acquired tastes.

3-6 is starting to fall off as they get more and more mainstream, but i listen to their old stuff daily.
