I think the word black is overrated. Who's right is it to "draw the line" when it comes to name calling? Isn't the whole point of name calling to offend and piss others off? So what's wrong with calling someone a black? I also don't get how it's socially acceptable to disrespect the entire human race with "color-blind" words like bitch and cunt, yet to use a word disrespectful to one race is wrong. I generally agree, but calling a black person the N word is basically telling them that they're nothing more than a slave and don't deserve anything. Its one of the least fortunate times in history, slavery is wrong and we shouldn't remind ourselves about our ancestors stupidity.

None of the other words have any history. "Bitch" is a female dog, woopty doo. "Motherfucker" so what? Unless it's true, who cares? Fuck, shit, etc, they're just words. I say them around people 24-7 and no one thinks anything of it. But, the "N word" has a history. It's sole meaning is one of racism and slander, there's no way around it. The other words can be used without any hate or negative aspect behind them, whereas the use of the "N word" only has one meaning and purpose.

The er and the a on the end of the N word make a huge diffrence. Don't ask why, it just does, thats how it is now.

the 'er' compared to the 'a' has a huge difference.
I don't know why, but according to my AMCS (American Multicultural Studies) teacher it goes like this:
with an 'a' is like black person talking to another black person and regognizing their troubled ancestry and general social unacceptance, so they're saying it in respect of what their ancestors had to go through.
or something like that
