I credit a lot of the Suns' winning to D'Antoni. He finds players that fit his strategy and they win. I think that Nash has a lot to do with that. Can't take credit away from Marion either, he's played awesome this season

Agreed Marion is a beast and playing terrific, but with out nash this team would be where they were before Nash, which was not making the playoffs.

I think Marion is just about as important to that team as Nash is. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they can win without Nash, but I don't think they could win without Marion too.

I'd say Lebron. He's led the Cavs to a much improved record and the Cavs are playing like one of the best teams in the league. Not much help around him.

Haha...because Marion hasn't improved. You see what he does for that team, and you think they could really be alright without him?

Lol, I know that. I was just saying. Maybe the "haha" at the beginning kinda made it look like it was towards someone.

Marion is just another product of Nash being there. Great numbers? No doubt. Better numbers than Nash. But all it takes to understand is to watch a suns game and especially a suns game without Nash. Marion isn't the reason they are winning. I'm sure of that. Just look at it, who is the focus of opp defense? Do they even care that much about Marion? So I guess Marion will have to be out for a season like Amare (and amare is twice more important than Marion) for people to see it.
And that's the main reason is almost a crime to consider Wade over Bron. Wade is awesome but while Bron has to deal with double teams for 48 minutes or how many he plays, the main concern about the Heat offense is still Shaq when he is on the field. I still remember when the Heat had an horrible streach with Shaq out even if Dwane was putting big numbers.
An MVP outside Nash, Bron or Dirk is completely unfair to these 3. Like I said I'd give it to Nash although back to back might be too much so Bron/Dirk. Best 2 players in the past 2 seasons besides Nash. Bron is the man, but Dirk has the record.

but i guess i'd have to say Kobe ewww...he's just playing too good this year to not get it Indeed. Probably the best individual season in the league. But this is a a team sport and who exactly is having a better season for playing with Kobe? Is he making anyone better? In the MVP it's a must for me to make your teammates better.

Most Valueable Player....then why not call it Most Valueable Teamplayer or Most Valueable Team?
then i'd give that up to Nash and Pistons accordingly but if i have to choose 1 player who's just killing the league left and right...sadly ...i'd have to say Kobe

Most Valuable Player. Exactly.
Most valuable to who? To his mother or to his team?

to his team, Kobe's 99% of their offense, if he's not scoring, he's pulling 2 or 3 guys over his way so they can double or triple him so instead of putting the ball on kobe's hand, the other piece of crap gets the ball. he might not have 10apg but when Parker or whoever brings the ball up the court, they always try to keep 2 or 3 guys around kobe leaving walton and such wide open around the baseline

But Kobe isn't as valuable to his offense because he doesn't help his teammates. If he did then they'd all be scoring a lot more, instead of him just scoring an obscene ammount.
Nash and Lebron make their team much better. They may average less points, but their teams get many more points simply by having either of them on the court. Far more points than Kobe will ever put up by himself(except 81)
