Yeah, your right. Nash grabs the boards and hands them to Marion. Nash some how shoots 51% from the field dressed like Marion. Nash plays defense for Marion on players bigger then him and he is already out of position. I said I'm not taking anything away from Nash, he is good and they need him. But when someone says Marion is a product of Nash, that's crazy. He is very important to the Suns season this year. I don't think we are talking about the same thing. I'm not talking about Marion stats and saying they are a product of Nash. If Nash was out, Marion would get at least the same stats and probably better ones. He was getting good stats before Nash. But still getting those stats, the Suns wouldn't win as much. They would probably miss the playoffs. On the other hand, Nash doesn't get as good stats but he is great for the Suns system and makes it work as a team and they win with him there. Marion is just a piece, a very good one, but just a piece of the team. Not a difference maker.

I'm with Jared. Wade get's my vote. If I had to choose one right now it would have to be Mr. Bryant. There's a progress there. You are almost there. One was my Heat fan vote, and the other was true vote.

MVP- Kobe
Simply the best player in the game right now and that's what an MVP is.

MVP- Kobe Simply the best player in the game right now and that's what an MVP is. It's ont the BPITG award. It's the MVP award. Kobe's good, but not as valueable to his team or his teammates as Lebron, Nash, or Dirk.

You take Kobe off the Lakers, and there is no Lakers.

Surprising that the two big time Laker fans think Kobe should be MVP

Um...that's probably the craziest thing I've read in this thread. You take Kobe off the Lakers, and there is no Lakers. You take Kobe of the Lakers and the Lakers probably lose a LOT more games just like any team without their MVP. But you take Kobe out of the Lakers and while losing, I think Odom, Mihm, Brown etc become better players I watch the Lakers and Kobe is amazing. It's "kobe shoots kobe scores" followed by "kobe shoots, kobe misses" followed by "kobe to the line" followed by "kobe whatever". It's like the others on offense are just watching what kobe is going to do. I remember watching Celtics vs Kobe. It was a fun game but does he realise he has teammates? That's the difference maker for me not to give it to the best individual player this season.

And that goes for Big Z, Gooden, Flip and any other teams with MVPs...

Nah LeBron passes the ball a lot and his teammates are around their career stats. And I'm not just saying 2 more assists per game because that doesn't tell the whole story. Don't get me wrong. Kobe was the choosen one this season but Bron is a better leader imo. But I'm gonna be a homer and give it to the guy, from the possible MVPs, with a better team record: Dirk

My logic for someone like Chauncey Billups shouldn't win it is that if he was on say the Sixers, they'd be awful IMO.

put Kobe on the sixers and they'd be awful too, but put Lebron, Nash, or Dirk on the 76ers then they'd be as good as the Cavs are now.

Lol...it really amazes me how you are doubting Kobe Bryant (probably the best overall player in the NBA right now) as a player. You may not like the guy, but that shouldn't make you say stuff that makes people wonder what your talking about.

Honestly, I'm not sure the Sixers would be any better with Kobe. Hell, they might even be worse.
