Who said he couldn't play offense? Banks always could shoot, he just can't run an offense.

They can't be real basketball fans if they are upset about Walker leaving. And if it took Davis to get Blount out of town, I would think anyone who actually sat down and watched more than two quarters of any Celtic game would see that Blount was a poison on the team.

Danny Ainge said that he's not capable of playing in high level and I'd agree with Ainge. very few NBA teams have a use for a pretty good, but hardly great offensive player like Banks who can't create his own shot and is only 6 feet tall.

And when the Ricky deal happend, alot of people called Ainge a cancer exactly why I don't listen to that trash. the people who host those show are nimrods and i think they must poison the people who listen to them to act that way. i'm sure danny ainge really cares what people like that think of him though.

that said, i can understand people getting upset about ricky davis being traded. after all, he was pretty much the best player for the celtics last year in the playoffs.

yeah but how could he go from a 2nd place team of
Payton Pierce Davis Walker Blount
to the losing ways of
West Pierce Sczerbiak Perkins Lafranz
i dont see anything improving anytime soon, even the draft picks they're making's not making much sense. Al Jefferson's way too over rated for the Celtics, Gerald Green's extremely over rated too, the Celtics cant draft right nor pick up FA becuase of Ainge being equivalence to what Bulls GM in Slox is, nobody likes to get swapped that much

Al Jefferson's way too over rated for the Celtics, Gerald Green's extremely over rated too, the Celtics cant draft right nor pick up FA becuase of Ainge being equivalence to what Bulls GM in Slox is, nobody likes to get swapped that much I was almost ready to agree, but then once again, I turned the corner and completely disagree with you. I don't mean anything in offense, but maybe you've never really watched Jefferson play? Offensively, even at 19, he's gifted. Gerald Green...is in the NBDL - how is he overrated when they got him at the #18 pick? Not really sure what the comparison is between Ainge and the Bulls either. But I think the one thing Ainge didn't do so well was signing Blount to that big contract. At the same time though, there weren't very many other good big men as free agents when Blount's contract was up a few years ago, and the Celtics were admittedly kind of desperate. Add to the fact that quite a few other teams (76ers, Timberwolves, Grizzlies, etc.) were very hot after Blount, and the contract seemed to make sense at the time. It just didn't work out, which happens. But to say Ainge's draft picks haven't worked out, to me, is not a very bright statement when Jefferson and West are clearly the future of the team along with Tony Allen if he can get healthy. Unfortunately, you'll either never want to admit it, or just plain never realize it, but Antoine Walker stinks. I know you're a Walker fan for some unknown reason, but the guy is a rotten player to depend on. It's too bad that he had such a good reputation here and while he was a good soldier for some of the bad Celtics years in the late 90's and didn't mind giving up the #1 scoring option to Paul Pierce, that never made him a good player. The Celtics were only a 2nd place team in a very weak Eastern Conference. All that has changed as the East has grown a lot stronger. In addition, Kendrick Perkins is looking better and better as he gets more minutes.

Jefferson's ok time to time but he's extremely inconsistant, i mean he is young yeah but can you picture him as a 20ppg 10rpg like O'neal is (jermiane) or do you see him more along the lines of small Erick Dampier?
Gerald Greene got a huge hype from Dani Ainge, he said in i forgot which PC but he had a very bright future for Gerald Greene. Greene's not doing too hot in DL which makes me wonder if he's like Ebi
