how's everyone doing so far? I'm pretty damn happy for my grizz. Signed arguably the top young coach. drafted arguably the best PG. Signed arguably the best big FA. Only negative was signing Wallace as GM, but he's surprised me and done a hell of a job so far, so it looks like a good signing for the time being.

although I hate to see rashard and ray ray go in the same offseason, im liking the future for the sonics with durant and green, and most likely one more top pick next season, which I think they could use a PG unless Ridnour decides to drastically step it up, hopefully one of those 3 young centers we have will amount to something, just is a waiting game.

hard to say i'm overly happy with the celtics' offseason. acquiring a 32 year old with two bad ankles who can't play defense and who makes over $10 million in salary was a lousy move, especially with giving up a top pick. even more so, his "ray ray" nickname is probably the most foolish in the league.
giving up a top pick in addition to delonte west was a real bummer. can't really fault danny ainge for looking out for his job, but the long term prospects of the celtics were hampered in this deal. at least boston kept al jefferson though - he is far and away the brightest spot on the team and he is on the verge of breaking out next season if he can stay healthy.
surely a trio of jefferson, paul pierce and allen can vault the celtics into the playoffs, but how far? probably not far and with allen on the wrong side of 30 and vastly overpaid (like pierce), the celtics can't acquire the other help they need to truly contend.
probably the worst possible offseason for the celtics outside of trading al jefferson.

Signed arguably the top young coach. iavaroni just makes me laugh. the classic untalented, bruising white man on the court who often just looked plain clueless. obviously he must be less clueless on the sideline...or at least memphis better hope he is. i remember the classic, 1982-83 philadelphia 76ers championship saying: "little mo (maurice cheeks), big mo (moses malone), andrew toney and iavaroni - sixers all the way".

Hawks had a good draft...I wouldn't mind it if they would sign a veteran or two though. I'm waiting for someone to get arrested or someone to fuck up

Warriors traded Jrich for Brandon Wright to get rid of a logjam at the 2 and get arguably the best PF in the draft.
With Monta and Biedrins developing more the Warriors should be playoff contenders again this year.
