6/9 Update
Kemp hoping to be a Nugget soon
Source: Denver Pos
Shawn Kemp is optimistic he will end up returning to the NBA in a Nuggets uniform next season.
The six-time All-Star hasn't played since the 2002-03 season with Orlando in large part because of weight problems and off-court issues, but after losing about 70 pounds he hopes to return. The 14-year veteran worked out at the Nuggets' free-agent camp last weekend.
6/8 Update
Jazz, Raptors exchange draft busts
Rafael Araujo was dealt to the Jazz Thursday in exchange for Kris Humphries and Robert Whaley.
The Raptors called Araujo "Hoffa" most of the season because he was away with an injury so long. He's averaged just 2.9 PPG in his 111 career games. He'll take on the daunting task of replacing Greg Ostertag as Utah's backup center.
Roy high on Bulls wish list

The Bulls are reportedly intersted in taking Brandon Roy with the No. 2 pick in the draft.
LSU's Tyrus Thomas and Texas' LaMarcus Aldridge looked strong in workouts for Chicago last week, as well. "Roy is this year's Chris Paul if he starts," one general manager said last week. "When it's all said and done, he's the rookie of the year. He doesn't quite have NBA three-point range yet, but he's got everything else and is ready to go."
6/7 Update
Isiah speaks, says nothing of Knicks' plans
Source: New York Post
Isiah Thomas finally stopped and spoke with Knicks beat writers yesterday in Orlando, and what he didn't say was as telling as what he did have to say.
"It's the same as we said before," Thomas said in regards to the status of Larry Brown. "We won't comment on any of the reports that are out there. We're just here to make sure we do our work draft-wise and try to have another successful draft." And when asked directly if Brown will be back to coach the Knicks still holds true, Thomas replied with a "See you guys later." It sounds like Brown will leave the pre-draft workout sometime on Wednesday or Thursday to head back to New York. It's hard to believe that owner James Dolan has let Brown dangle this long, but his efforts to make the Knicks the laughingstock of the sports world are really paying off.
6/5 Update
Tyrus Thomas working out for three teams
Source: The Oregonian
Tyrus Thomas has stated he will only work out for the teams with the top three picks (Toronto, Chicago and Charlotte).
Blazers GM Steve Patterson, who holds the No. 4 pick, said that tactic could hurt Thomas. "Usually a workout is an important part of the evaluation for a high draft pick," Patterson wrote. "It can be an influencing factor, sometimes significantly so. It is also a risk for the player if he doesn't get drafted where he expects to." He cited Gerald Green and Nick Van Exel as examples.
Miles on the block as Blazers rebuild

The Blazers are reportedly shopping Darius Miles this offseason.
New York has expressed interest for a while. The Blazers hold the fourth, 30th and 31st picks in draft. Steve Patterson, the team's president and acting GM, will split his time between evaluating prospects and orchestrating trade scenarios. Zach Randolph and somebody in the point guard-by-committee rotation could be traded.
6/2 Update
Kings name Musselman head coach
According to reports, the Kings have hired Eric Musselman to replace Rick Adelman as their new coach.
Musselman went 75-89 as Golden State's coach over two seasons ending in 2004 and was the runner-up for Coach of the Year in 2003. He coached for seven years in the CBA before becoming an assistant under his father, Bill Musselman, in Minnesota in 1990. He likes to run and gun like Adelman did, so this news won't likely affect the Kings players' fantasy value much.
