Numerous sites have reported tat the nets are in negotiations that would send Marcus Camby and Carmelo Anthony to the nets for Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, and this years lottery pick.
anyone think this might be a horrible deal for the nuggets?
for one, i think its a great deal for the Nets... they would look very good next year, and the nuggets are getting screwed here, if this deal is taken, that whole nuggets front office needs to be fired

Carmelo Anthony got outplayed by Luke Walton in the first round. Just think about that for a second.

lol, good point, but Melo is 23, and a top 10 plyaer overall... can't trade that for RJ and Williams, and a most likely 7th pick or somewhere around that can you?

Camby could have some future value. He is a huge expiring contract like Kwame Brown.

Sounds about as likely to happen as the rumored Ron Artest and Ben Wallace for Kobe Bryant deal .
Carmelo Anthony is not a top ten player either.

a top 15-20 player is a lot different than a top 10 player. is anthony really any better than richard jefferson?

Anthony and Jefferson have similar values to a team's success IMO. Carmelo will put up more sexy stats, but those don't always translate to wins. Plus Nets would get a nice young PG and a lotto pick. I say Nets win this one.

Boozer, Manu, ok, so im wrong Anthony has done nothing with his career so far...not saying Manu and Boozer are better individually...but they at least know how to win.

Nuggets don't have the balls to send a 23 year old franchise player away, I don't think there's any way this happens.
