Actually, Barry traveled on that play too 1. barry catches jump stop (lands with both feet). either foot can be a pivot, depends on which one he steps with first. 2. barry steps back with left foot. this means right foot is pivot, IT CANNOT MOVE WITHOUT A DRIBBLE. 3. barry steps with right foot BEFORE THE BALL BOUNCES. this = travel. Not goaltending....

Can you tell he's a Spurs fan?
Stop whining Dan.....when the Spurs get knocked out of the playoffs it won't be because the refs didn't give Brent Barry two free throws with no time left in Game 4. What about the other games and the REST of game 4 where the Spurs just got their ass kicked?

What about the other games and the REST of game 4 where the Spurs just got their ass kicked? when did he say that the refs were singularly responsible? i think dan knows that the spurs dropped a few winnable games (game 1 and game 4). dan was simply responding to a question posed to him. though if the spurs are eliminated, part of it could be because of the barry call, even if it shouldn't have come to barry being able to take that shot in the first place. i don't think anyone doubts that the NBA badly wants a Lakers-Celtics finals.

The fact that he keeps talking about the refs screwing them over and the fact that he said there should be an asterisk if the Lakers win because they got screwed over.

Every team gets screwed over by the NBA refs. It sucks, but it's always gonna be like that.

I don't care how well he was playing that game, I find it funny Brent Barry got the ball with the game on the line.

He can have his opinion. Just like my opinion was that he is upset and blames it on the refs.

He can have his opinion. Just like my opinion was that he is upset and blames it on the refs. exactly, and his opinion has merit just like yours does, but the condescension towards his opinion is unbecoming of someone like you who knows better. from 90% of other people on this board, it wouldn't surprise me. that's all - i guess your reaction just took me aback.

This is ridiculous, the NBA cares more about money and bullshit ratings. Otherwise, they would act to make sure Seattle, which happens to be one of the longest tenure teams, stays in Seattle.
But lets make up shit to fine for flopping and turn the cheek when Seattle is about to leave, some fucking bullshit. I vouch to never watch the NBA if the Sonics move. Lets go Seattle MLS, would rather watch that then the Oklafuckers sucks team.

Thank you. Not sure what Jason is talking about, the Spurs had their asses kicked in New Orleans, and in Game 2 of the Lakers game, but that is a foul at the end of Game 4. Whats the problem?

I don't care how well he was playing that game, I find it funny Brent Barry got the ball with the game on the line. It was drawn for Manu. It happened that Manu got clogged and Barry got freed up. Sometimes it happens, regardless, it doesn't matter what player you are (you know if Kobe did what Barry did, thats a foul), you call it the right way.
