Even if your not a fan of Rap, you should listen to Lil Wayne. His new CD has some dope beats as well as great calobartions with multi genre artist and producers. This is easily the most anticipated CD of the last 2 years. More then the American Gangster CD from Jay Z, more then Kanye and 50. This CD is by far worth 9.99 at Best buy. Don't burn it, go out and buy it. This dude puts out free mixtape music all the time, so the least we could do is by his album. Here is a link to the song tie my hands featuring Robin Thicke www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujASK_2Xn0g&feature=bz303Get this CD if you like what you hear

G unit needs to make another record, that record they put out was really good, almost every song was good.
I guess I might be old school, but a lot of the rap out sucks ass. Its all about a decent club beat and a terrible chorus that gets overplayed on the radio with no clever lyrics what so ever.
Shit I still listen to 2pac, biggie, mac dre and shit because nothing new is ever good.
When the fuck is Dr. Dre coming out with a Cd, he would blow apart anything on the airwaves, we need him back.

His first cd when it came out was actually the last rap album I bought. Rap has turned into crap the last few years IMO. Maybe I'm just too much of a fan of the 90s/early 2000s...who knows. The Carter was pretty good though.

I don't think Dre has the ability to reinvent himself, and have people believe him. He is the greatest producer in rap history, but he never really was the best rapper. Em, Cube, Snoop, 50, and Hitman all wrote his lyrics. For instance 'forgot about dre', was all written by Eminem. 'Deep Cover' That was mainly snoop. Dre is dope, I just can't see him being able to compete in todays rap with the young hip hop heads. And lets face it, they are the ones buying ringtones and CD's. They are the ones who made Soulja Boy a multi millionare off of selling ringtones. Soulja boy made more money last year off of Ringtones, then Nas and Busta Rhymes have made off of their last two albums combined. And thats not a number I'm making up! thats where hip hop is at now.........real sad if you ask me. But we still have some good artist making good music........ Wayne, Jay Z, Rick Ross, TI, Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, and Kanye and 50 on occassion

I can't believe that Jeezy hasn't been mentioned yet. I'll take Jeezy over everyone. He's the future of hip hop right now. I like Wayne, and he's came a LONG way since his early cash money days, but I feeling Jeezy right now. The Inspiration was the best album to come out in the last few years IMO. Every track was hot, and he has a new track that sounds better than anything right now, and he also coming out with an album with Akon, which is gonna blow Jay-z/R. Kelly colab out the water. Good for Wayne, he's worked hard, and deserve the love, especially from where he came from. But no one is touching Jeezy IMO.

Thats why your opinion doesn't matter Naw Jeezy is nice, but you have to get past the Sophmore Jinx before I start calling someone the best one out. Dude is nice, but in noway do I put him over the guys who've been doing it consistently for the past five - ten years. Every person I named has been putting out good music summer after summer. Jeezy is up and coming, but the true test is if a person can reinvent himself, but still not lose the respect of real hip hop fans.

The sophmore jinx? Whoa. The Inspiration was the best hip hop album of the year by far.

Yes, but now he has to keep it going for atleast another album before he can be mentioned in the same breathe as Common, Mos Def, Wayne, Jigga. He is the top up and comming artist IMO, his mixtapes are pretty tight and his delivery is unique

Yeah, I feel ya. But he's been getting alot of love for his albums though, and Jay-z actually sponsored him in the beginning to be where he is now. So he still has a while to go, but he will be one of the best no questions if this album is hot.
