A few reasons why Chicago and New York are no longer the capitals of HS Basketball Josh Smith is the number 1 rated player in the class of 2010. He is a 6'10, 280 pound center from my old HS (Kentwood High school). I've met this kid a few times through my old coach, and watched him play and practice. He is the most humble kid, but he has a hunger to win that can't be matched. He understands the game, and he has tons of upside. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V53UzB62ZHE&feature=relatedbasketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=842392This is Tony Wrotten, a 15 year old from Garfield Wa. He is the cousin of Nate Robinson, and is already considered the number one recruit for 2011. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjJ-eRamB2A&feature=relatedscouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=3508630Also Seattle has a crazy class of 2009, with 3 players in the top 50. (two in the top 13) Peyton Siva #49 in the country (Louisville) is an explosive 5'10 PG, who is going to be a problem for many teams. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCjkSjgpchUAvery Bradley # 8 (Unsigned) Is a 6'3 guard that has potential to be a high lotto pick in the next two seasons www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN3iZha5b-YAbdul Gaddy # 13 in the country. (Arizona bound) He is my favorite of the 3. He is a flat-out scorer, who can make you look real silly whenever he wants. BTW Gaddy and Bradley are HS teammates. (Not fair at all) www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpavVRZs5VEThe state of Washington is easily the hotbed of for college basketball right now. I dare you to try and find a better place at the moment to watch HS basketball.

Tell Josh Smith the next time you see him that if he wants to compete for a national title, expose himself to a large media market, go high in the lottery, enjoy great weather, live next to the uppities of Beverley Hills and fuck hot women that he should go to UCLA.

Yeah, talent in WA is definitely underrated IMO. Living up there for so long, you see there so players in that state. Must be that rain thing.

Well I gurantee one place he won't be going to. He won't be a Husky! His brother played at UW for football, and got treated like shit because he was in a frat. His teammates called him Whiteboy, and made his life a living hell. So much so, that he quit the team and just went to school and got his degree. The Athletic program did nothing to make his stay better, and they will now regret that decision!

Brandon Knight is another outstanding player. I watched him and Wroten play in the Rucker park classic on Friday, and they look neck and neck to me. I think they will keep leap frogging eachother, until there senior season. Both guys are dope as hell though.

smith needs to go to U of W I'm a huge Husky fan since the days of Donald Watts, Todd Macalluagh. Hell my ex-teammate Mike Jensen played for UW with Nate, B-Roy, Will Conroy, Doug Wrenn, Curtis Allen, and all those guys. So I UW hoops is the shit to me. So saying that...... there is about a 25% chance Smith even honestly considers UW as an option. Not only will he have every team in the country at his practice, but his family has bad blood with the program as it is already. I honestly think it will come down to UCLA, Kansas, Carolina, and the dark horse Georgetown.
