3rd string QB. Patchwork offensive line. Starters injured left and right. 4 interceptions in the first half. Against the amazing speed from the SEC . No problem. Norm Chow could draw up plays for the members of this board and have better offensive success that that doofus Dorrel last year. Did you guys witness the domination on ESPN last night?

I hate Dick Neuweisel. You guys suck. You won't do anything. And yes, I'm a bitter Cougar fan that knows it's gonna be a long season.

ha, ucla will win 6 games at best with that guy at QB. TN shat the chilli in that game, with 4 int's you gotta be up by more than 7. plain and simple.
Fulmer is prob done for unless he wins the east this year, and i dont see that happening with florida and georgia as stout at they are.

There is no reason that Chow has not gotten offered a head coaching position. I'm not going into the details why, but it's pretty sad that he's not a head coach. A brilliante OC.

Chow has a lot to prove still. He has always had supreme talent, and guys like Palmer, Bush, Mike Williams, Dale Jarrett. Lyndell White, Steve Smith, Matt Leinert have made his career. He needs to prove that he can make lesser talent shine, half as well as he did with USC. Tennesse showed otherwise, so we will see what being back in College will do.
I think he's a good coach, just think he owes Pete Carroll a lot. Pete gave him a group of guys that even Brian Billeck could get to score 35+ points a game

for real, i guess i dont knwo the details as to why norm is not a head coach, but like the above post said, anybody who played madden since the age of 10 could have had USC's offense rolling during those years!!!
Nothign that happened in taht game last night signals to me that norm is a great play caller...rather that TN offense sucks donky balls, as does UCLA's.

What are you ignorant clowns talking about?
I love the list of super talented USC players that anybody could run an offense with. It reads like the who's who of draft busts in in the 21st century. Outside of Palmer all of those players peaked in college.
Not to mention Chow's collegiate resume isn't just SC
Chow served as BYU's offensive coordinator from 1982 to 1999, during which time he helped coach the Cougars to their only national title in 1984, which is also the last time a non-BCS school (sometimes called a mid-major) won the NCAA Division I FBS (then I-A) national championship. He then left BYU for a short stint as the offensive coordinator at NC State, before accepting the position of offensive coordinator at the University of Southern California.
In 23 seasons as offensive coordinator, Chow coached 8 of the top 14 career passing efficiency leaders and 13 quarterbacks who rank among the top 30 in NCAA history for single-season passing yardage. The BYU Cougars scored 30 or more points in 106 of 181 games. His list of pupils include Robbie Bosco, Steve Young, Philip Rivers and Heisman Trophy winners Ty Detmer, Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart.
But hey man I'm glad the Titans made them their scapegoat for Vince Young's inability to complete a pass ten yards down the field. Without the Titans footing the bill for his salary I doubt publicly funded UCLA would have signed him.

Yeah the Mormon place that's still ranked right now unlike those underachievers from Tennessee. They are also UCLA's next opponent.
