Pistons are the Pistons but I'm kind of looking forward to seeing the team under new coach Michael Curry. He's really hammering on defense. I'm also looking forward to seeing how Amir Johnson handles being a starter and of course Stuckey and Afflalo will be even better this season. The Pistons are deep. Where does Kwame Brown fit into the Pistons rotation? I want to see him play again for comedy's sake. He'll see occasional minutes...lol, 10th man in a 9 man rotation.

It's truly amazing that the Celtics, Spurs and Pistons of the last decade have won so many titles in a league filled with officials that don't allow them to play defense. Let me take wild guess... were you a Warriors fan before you decided that officials have ruined the NBA? How does your brain twist around "can't play hard defense" to "teams that play good team defense can't win?" You truly are retarded.

If the officials called the game as you claim, KG would have fouled out of every single game. Officials are not going to let your undersized midget ballers from Oakland hack, but they do allow teams to play good defense.

I'm with you Stork on NBA refs, its just they aren't trained well enough and there still hasn't been that much improvement. Although I'm biased, I'm watching the Spurs-Suns game right now. Duncan can foul the crap out of Amare and there's no call, but two times when Bonner put his hands on Amare for just a second its a foul. Star players get ridiculous treatment in this league. Case in point, then the Spurs pulled a Hack-a-Shaq move 4 times, and the fourth time, the ref anticipated the foul and made the call, only he made it right before Shaq sent a forearm shiver to Ime Udoka, everyone saw it, but the ref had already made the call. Refs are ruining the NBA, their egos (why they have one I don't know) and personal relationships with players are what is destroying some good games. Hopefully this changes soon...

Leaving everything else alone...Shaq ripped his arm through when Udoka grabbed it. Never even hit Udoka with a forearm or elbow..then Udoka tripped on one of Shaq's gargantuan feet. Point being-not an incident. -Dre

You guys are hilarious. I dont understand why you even watch the games if you are just going to cry about every little call.
In other news, the Lakers offense was on point last night... 7 players scored in double digits!

He'll see occasional minutes...lol, 10th man in a 9 man rotation. lol damn. How about Afflalo? Kwame came into the game pretty fast last night, still only finished with 3 minutes. As for Afflao, if he could get a consistent jump shot going he'd be pretty damn good. He has defense for sure. Last night in 13 minutes he had 5 points and 3 steals, also 3 fouls. Pistons looked pretty good last night and for Indiana...Granger is a beast.

Just some notes here.... Derrick Rose looked really good, 11 points on 5/9 shooting and 11 assists in his debut... Houston has good perimiter D, but they seem to need some help inside with a guy like Dirk. Yes Dirk plays more on the perimiter, but a guy like Artest or Battier is gonna be pretty hard pressed to guard Dirk. 36 points, probably in a losing effort. Lol at the Miami/New York game... arguably the knicks two most talented players(talented, not best players), did not even play, yet they win and score 120 points against Miami. On Miami, Beasley looked really bad... and Wade played good, looked ready to play this season. Haslem, known to be a terrible scorer, decent defender, and GREAT rebounder, finished that game with 23 points on 10/14 shooting, and finished wiht 10 rebounds. If Haslem continues to produce, watch out for Miami.
Lakers 2-0 BABY!!!

right now lowry is better, but it is in spite of the coach's best wishes.....
team insiders have told memphis reporters how much they don't like lowry and he has an attitude problem...they want conley badly to be the PG....but when things go bad, lowry comes in and improves the situation....
for instance, this season the team is in the positive while lowry is on the court and severely negative when conley is on the court....
