There's really nothing to like about Stephon Marbury... I like the fact that he is one of the very few NBA players who actually tells the media what he believes. He doesn't sugar coat anything to avoid criticism or seem to care how anybody including his fans and teammates are going to react. No matter how delusional or ridiculous I find most of his comments to be I can respect the fact that he is real in a way that the superstars of this generation specifically Lebron and Chris Paul will never be.

The knicks are getting what they deserved due to they gave marbury a list of things they wanted him to correct in the off-season which him and them both agreed that he followed then they kicked him in the balls by coming to him and telling him they had no used for him after asking him to do the things they asked him to....They should have either bought him out or traded him at the beginning of the season. for the record dantonie ( how ever you spell his name ) isn't that great of a coach there is a reason why he isn't in the land of the raising sun....you have to score 130 points to win a game what a bunch of bull shit......Free Starbury

That is why he will never be on a championship team. You cant just say what you want and throw your team under the buss or there will be no chemistry. I have no respect for Marbury he was sick as a T-Wolve but hes just an arrogant asshole.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Marbury still genuinely believed that he is the best PG in the league right now.

So you like the fact that he probably believes he's a top 5 PG yet hasn't played A MINUTE all year? lol...like I said there is nothing to like about Marbury.

Actually there is one thing to like. His individual talent as basketball player or at least the one he had at some point. There is nothing to like about him though as a person or a team player.

How about the fact that he came out with a $15 dollar shoe that he thought would give kids the same self confidence boost that the old Air Jordans did back in the day? Was it naively arrogant? Absolutely, but it was also a genuine contribution to the community that other NBA players wouldn't dream of doing.

“I sat there for three weeks and didn’t say one word,” Marbury told The Post. “I didn’t hear one of my teammates say, `Why isn’t Stephon Marbury playing? This is a good system for him, even to play with the second unit and bring more firepower.’
“When things got bad and then worse, guys like Quentin Richardson say, `I don’t consider him a teammate. He let his teammates out to dry.’ He didn’t care I was his teammate when I was banished. They left me out for dead. It’s like we’re in a foxhole and I’m facing the other way. If I got shot in the head, at least you want to get shot by the enemy. I got shot in the head by my own guys in my foxhole. And they didn’t even give me an honorable death.”
I agree with him and that must have been a big foxhole for his head to fit inn
