Nice signing for the Hawks player wise and they needed a WR but they overpaid here.

TK LOL, it's the NFC West for one. Two the Hawks have the 4th pick in the draft, and are sure to bring in another marquee player. I gurantee the Hawks will win 10 games atleast, if they remain healthy.

Take Crabtree anyway and run wit 'em both!! -Dre We have too many holes on the offensive and defensive line to take him. Plus we have tons of money invested in Branch, Burleson, and Bobby Engrim. Not to mention we still have seneca wallace playing reciever quarterback. I hope we take an offensive lineman. We haven't been the same, since losing Hutchinson to the Vikings in 06

When the Eagles were thinking about TJ Housh...I'm happy they didn't sign him. First off, no receiver deserves a 5 year deal at 31. Or the 8 Mill per year just for a possession type guy. I won't be shocked if he falters bad in his later years of the contract. Still, with your line play awful and no HB...10 games is most definitely a lofty prediction.

It's the NFL, no contract is guranteed. If he begins to decrese at the age of 35, he will be cut. (Look at Marvin Harrison) As far as possesion reciever goes, in the west coast offense you don't need a deep threat. TJ is a perfect fit for what we do And we had backups at every position last season on the O-Line due to injuries. So how can you expect any back to have consistent sucess with that? julius Jones, TJ Duckett, and hopefully Leonord Weaver will be fine. 10 wins is not lofty when you look at the Seahawks records from the last 6 seasons. Last year was a flukey injury season. And don't froget we have the fourth pick in the draft on top of all that

But seriously, all those HBS are nothing...you even said it yourself that you have holes on your lines... That's in the past...10 wins is lofty considering your QB absolutely sucked when he played...no running backs, the line play is below average, and your best corner had a bad year. I like your linebackers, but the D needs a lot of help. All you did was add TJ Housh and no receiver + the 4th pick makes a 6 game difference. Also you lose a helluva coach and replace him with shit. You guys have a shot at winning the division, but that's only because your playing in an awful division.

The addition of Chris Cole from the Packers and at the very least 4 very nice draft picks to help our offensive and defensive line. Only time will tell, but I stick with the thought that a healthy Seahawks team with the additions we just had, and are still yet to come is a ten win team.

I wouldn't under estimate the impact of losing a coach like Holmgren will have on that team. Couple that with the fact that Hass's health will continue to be a major question and the lack of a good starting RB I think 10 wins is a lofty prediction as well.
lilsims...Would you like to see them trade down in the draft a little ways and get a RB like Wells or Moreno??

Naw. I just want to see them get offensive and defensive lineman. My thought process with Running Backs is that we should had resigned Morris. I really like him, and I think he was very under used in the Hawks offense. However we have a much more alarming need for O-line and D-line as well as a coverage safety, that I think we need to go with what we have when it comes to backs. I also love the idea of drafting Smith, Raji, or if were lucky enough Curry. We need to take advantage of having this pick. I would love to see the Hawks get Thigpin (sp) from the Chiefs. I think he would be a nice QB in the wings, to learn from Hasselback. I would be willing to move our third round pick for him. His numbers were impressive considering the players he had around him. As for Holmgreen......... that was a huge loss, but luckily we kept his whole coaching staff, who have been with him for 5 - 10 seasons. Mora isn't a bad coach, he will demand the best from the Hawks, and the players already respect him since he was a n in-house hire
