I'm not feeling the Crabtree pick by the Bengals. He's a stud but with Ocho still there and the signing of Coles I see them going a different route.

Good point there, they still have crazy ass Chris Henry too. I also don't know if the 49ers would really pass on Sanchez for Maclin. Is Maclin really that good to be the 10th overall pick? Also surprised Raji is still on the board.

Only reason why I left Sanchez is that the 49ers have Smith and his payroll on the books, as well as the fans being tired of rebuilding and the organization for that matter. The 49ers were scorned by the Alex Smith pick, and they don't want to do that again. I honestly don't see York wanting to go down that road again. Plus the defense is good enough to get that team in the playoffs if they can bring in an established QB with experience. Like I said in my earlier post, I honestly think the 49ers would trade that pick if all the top OL were taken. And I think they would take a second tier OL in the late first round. I lived in the Bay area during the time Smith was drafted and all the horrible seasons. The fans, media, and organization are very tired of rebuilding

It'll be interesting to see what the 49ers do. If Stafford slips to them they'll take him for sure and I think there's a good possibility Sanchez would be the pick (if Stafford is gone). Pretty much a local kid (Sanchez) would get a better response then Alex Smith who was the #1 overall pick, that's just sick. Plus they haven't made any moves to upgrade the QB pos. unless I'm forgetting one.

I hate both Maclin and Sanchez with the 10 pick. If all the good O-line prospects are taken I think the 49ers go for either a pass rushing lineman, or some help in the secondary.

Also I think its hella cool of Alex Smith to take a 16 million dollar pay cut to stay in San Fran. Thats pretty stand up, seeing how he has yet to produce and wants to stay and prove his self to the team that drafted him.

I think people are giving up on him too soon after he was rushed by the 49ers.

He's been a complete bust and has had 3 shoulder surgeries in 2 years. I bet there's a chance he either doesn't make the team or is buried bad on the DC.

John Clayton reported that Smith had multiple teams interested, but the 49ers didn't want to trade him. So this was something that Smith did, so for that he gets my props

Nice to see LT agree to a new deal. I'm not sure he will ever be the same back but its nice to have at least one more year to find out.
The trainwreck with Cutler and the Broncos is hilarious and it couldn't happen to a better guy. ESPN did Rivers dirty when they blamed him for what happened between the two of them last year and Cutler has been the epitome of a me first prima dona who talks a bigger game than his play on the field can back up.
