LOL, can you read? The date on my post says OCTOBER 2007. THE 2007 season. If you forgot, 2008 comes after 2007. Common sense tell most people that I was talking about the 2007 football season when Doba was still the coach. But I excuse you. I know Fuskies ain't that bright.
Then you don't care about the Huskies. There are no real fans in Seattle, we know that. That's why the Sonics left, we kicked the Hawks out of the AFC West because no one would put up a fight, the Mariners with that terrible team and high payroll, no one in Seattle really cares about your sports. Especially Huskies fans. You guys are so quick to turn on them it's sick. Now that's a fact. Cougar fans have a undying allegiance to our team, through thick and thin. Even when we're losing, Martin Stadium is packed. Can't say that about Husky Stadium AKA The Cougs NEW Home field. But hey, look on the bright side, you have a WNBA Championship.

LOL, you said that last season. If you keep reading it talks about both teams not getting any wins. That was just the first time you said it.
And your Seattle claim about not being sports fans = GAY

So what's your point? Yeah, I said it. It was true. Doesn't mean I'm not a fan. You don't know Cougar fans. We expect the worst. And we don't mind being critical of our teams. Doesn't mean we desert them, but we talk shit about our team, because we do "Coug it" alot. But not lately against the Fuskies.

Well, football is obviously better than yours, so no need to go there LOL.
Basketball is questionable, I'll give you that. But if we can get the right guy *cough Gillespie cough* then I don't see with the talent we have back, to start another 7 game domination run on you guys.

1st off we killed you in recruiting for football................. your program is staying where it is, while we are moving up. So UW wins that battle.
As for basketball, you guys don't have shit. No good recruits, and sub par returners. You guys will be in last place in the Pac 10 in both sports next season.

Wait, hold on one minute. YOU BEAT US IN RECRUITING?? Fine whatever, BUT WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MATTER?? LMFAO!! You have lost the last 2 Apple Cups, and you only won one 1 in 4 years. Fine sims, you can have recruiting lol. You got us there! Is there a recruiting Apple Cup lol. You guys have always pretty beaten us with better recruiting prospects. But from recent history, that doesn't matter.
Anyways, Klay Thompson and DeAngelo Casto are going to be good. If we don't fuck up with this hire, we can make some noise. That's just wishful thinking sims. You guys excelled in a down year in the Pac. Great fucking job.
I'm we can have this debate over a beer when I come up in a few months. A friend is getting married in Sept. I'll wear my Winless shirt up there lol.

bennett gone in pullman = the start of a downfall for the Cougs in basketball. What an idiot move I think. Now Bennett will be at the bottom of the ACC for years to come. By the way where was the Cougs this year in baskeball? Did they even make the Nit?

Bennett is not stupid, and it's not his fault at all. After the dust have settled, I'm starting to see what happend. If we would just pay the hell up when it mattered in the past, we wouldn't be here. We didn't want to pay for Price, and we lost him. We didn't want to pay for a replacement, so we hire Doba. A cheap and easy fix. We wait until it's too late, and we fire Doba, and go with another easy and cheap fix in Wulff. Not hating against him, but he's not a big time sexy hire for a school that claims to be a football school. All of that attributed in Tony's departure, because we didn't have enough money generated from the football program. At some point, the administration needs to realize that besides the students, a great program can go a long way in making money for the school. And it starts by taking a serious interest in the program. Not hoping that we're good. They tried to screw Tony, after he stayed last year when he made demands that called for increasing the recruiting budget, because he knows that's what it takes to build a program. And then all of a sudden, they try to change the script up on him, and Tony wasn't having it. He turned down a dream job because of the promises that were made to him. Now that I'm looking at everything, I don't blame Tony for leaving. Sterk and the administration said one thing, then did another. And if they weren't going to increase the recruiting budget, but rather diminish it, then Tony had to make his move now before the team got too bad, and his stock decreases. Tony was willing to give up 100K in his contract, and that still wasn't enough. All I got to say is where is www.firejimsterk.com? This guy has single handly destroyed the two sports that matter. Good luck to you Tony. You deserve it. You're a hell of a coach. I'm sorry that the administration didn't see it that way. I can't hate on you knowing that what the administration was all about. Why not go to a school that would appreciate and pay for your talent. Because obviously, we didn't. Now, let welcome Coach Douche Bag from a little name school that was an easy hire, and we can pay him peanuts. Yay!Savojah

I'd consider Virginia a step above both Washington & Washington State in basketball. Not Gonzaga, though.
Better conference & better tradition.

OMG. Do we have to get into who is the better conference now? ACC is good. But to say better conference and tradition is a stretch IMO.

I'd consider Virginia a step above both Washington & Washington State in basketball. Not Gonzaga, though. Better conference & better tradition. That is an idiotic statement! The State of Washington has breded some of the best basketball players in the nation. Washington Huskies are just now being able to keep those players at home. Virgina has a horrible track record, while Washington's is ten times more impressive. The Huskies have gotten top 20 recruiting classes every season with Romar as the coach. Where is Virgina?UW has reached the sweet 16 twice, and has been a number 1 seed in the last 5 years. We produced multiple first round picks in the NBA in the last few seasons such as Spencer Hawes, Brandon Roy, Nate Robinson. All who have impressive resumes to start there young careers. I could go on and list more info, but it would be a waste of my time. Idiot!

Check out the High School All American game tonight at 5 on ESPN. You will be able to see 3 of the many highschool ballers from Seattle. Peyton Siva (Louisville Recruit) Abdul Gaddy (Washington Recruit), and Avery Bradly (Texas Recruit) Are all taken part in the game, as Bradley already won the Dunk Contest. The crazy part is that the best players in Washington are only Jr's, and Sophmores in highschool
Seattle Stand up!!!!!!!!!!!!
