I am a Cowboys fan and hate that the Eagles picked Macklin. Macklin will fit perfectly in that west coast offense. They are all about small dump off passes and crossing routes with speed guys and every once in awhile air it out. This makes the Eagles offense very scary with jackson, westbrook, and macklin.
I need Harvin to slip to the Boys in the 2nd round.

Nice the Chargers picked another Merriman just in case his masking agents don't work this year.

Maclin is good. He's an all purpose guy, has great speed, and is a big reciever. At 6'4" 215, and runs a 4.3, if he can improve on his outside reciever skills, he could be good. More like 6'0...205 pounds. I am a Cowboys fan and hate that the Eagles picked Macklin. Macklin will fit perfectly in that west coast offense. Didn't we whoop your asses last year in the playoffs? Eli "bitch" Manning couldn't get a few inches on a sneak. Jacobs couldn't get a few inches...lol. If you notice, whenever the Eagles do something good...the typical fan of another team can only muster "fat ass McNabb"...by the way there are fatter QB's than McNabb out there. And say what you want, but in the NFC Championship game McNabb didn't lose us the game...the defense did. At least One Time can be unbiased and give credit to a division rival team.

I like Seattle's trade here. They trade a 37th pick to get Denver's 1st Round Pick next year. Seems to me like high-way robbery considering who the hell there QB is. Kyle Orton probably won't get them more than 6 wins and that translates to a top 10 pick.

I would had liked for the Hawks to grab Darius Butler, but that first can easily be a top 10 pick next year

yeah, what a great trade, that is going to be huge for the hawks next year. There is their top QB next year possibly, maybe a top lineman. Like that trade a lot. Although they could have taken that DE from Florida St. who is still there.

I'm pretty sure I could do a better job then the Raiders gm. They took another guy way early in the safety from OHIO. He was projected to go around the 4-5th round and was even listed as a possible FA after the draft by a few teams. But they took him in the 2nd round over better safeties on the board, lol. Must have had a low 40 time, lol.

Yeah, I think so.
Raider Nation is sick of this shit. Al Davis has done so much for the Raiders and the NFL, that for a long time, we've excused him for some of the things he has done. But the mistakes he's made in this decade are inexcusable, and Raider fans are tired. I think this move just put us over the edge. There was no reason to pick that guy with Crab on the boards. And its offical, he's losing his mind, and someone has to do something about it. This pick was reckless and incompetent. The board needs to convine and talk about what needs to be done. Because he's not going to bow out. Someone has to take it away from him. This is the last straw, Raider Nation is done with Al Davis. Thanks for everything Al, now move one PLEASE!

Crabtree is going to be a perfect fit for the 49ers. That pickup scares the hell out of me, if the 49ers can get the qb position set.
Also a healthy Wells is a great fit for the Cardinals. They look really good thus far, if they remain healthy
All in all the NFC West did a great job on day 1

While I would have preferred someone else, I won't deny that Curry is the safest top prospect in this draft but also someone with immense upside at his position. He's a very rare high ceiling/high floor player.
Rumor has it Seattle just removed the franchise tag on LeRoy Hill, and now he's an UFA.
Shit shit shit. Like I said earlier I'm not the biggest fan of drafting linebackers early in the 1st, but this just undid a lot of the good of the Curry pick. Don't release him, at least trade him for something, anything.
I really hope this is just a rumor as I haven't seen any Seattle newspapers report this yet. It would be a stupid, stupid move after a great day for the Hawks.
Not that I'm complaining but the hiring of Josh McDaniels is starting to look like Detroit hiring Matt Millen or Al Davis continuing to control Oakland. In McDaniel's first few months he's managed to alienate and then drive out the Bronco's young franchise quarterback, use their high first rounder to draft a RB even though their defense is still horrible and old, and then traded a possible top 10 pick in a, likely, stronger 2010 draft for what amounts to a 3rd and 4th round pick in this weak draft?

Hill is still tagged, and nobody on the radio is even mentioning him being untagged. There's no way the Hawks would let him go for nothing at this point, espicially with the first day of the draft gone and teams still needing to fil big defensive holes.
However I fully expect Hill to be gone next season, because he will want a huge contract
go to 950 KJR's website, if you want to hear what they are talking about online if you don't live in Washington
