The only person that loves Kobe more than Kobe is Ron Artest.
Dude just took less than Villanueva money to sign with the Lakers. Im pretty sure he knows his role.

Meh, Artest can be a chemistry killer if something goes wrong. This makes the Lakers a front runner for the finals again, but it could also cause them to implode. This is my ultimate dream. Spurs need to make a move and sign Sheed soon. Boston is going over-the-top to try to bring him in, hopefully he doesn't bite, he'd have to come off the bench as opposed to starting for another championship level team.

Pretty sure Sheed has about the same potential to implode or kill chemistry as Artest does. Believe me, I've watched him for the last 5 years here in Detroit. That same potential is there.

Richard Jefferson isn't as squeaky clean as he looks either now that you mention it.

Sheed atleast never ran into the stands during that infamous game, the most he does is get technicals. The Spurs have had a history of bringing in players and having them adapt to their style. Jefferson isn't that squeaky clean? Oh boy, that sounds like a push. Bottom line, if the Spurs sign Sheed, they'll have the best starting five in basketball, and be right on pace for meeting the Lakers in the WCF.

Sheed is done at this point. I actually hope he signs with either the Spurs or Celtics. That would be great.

sorry but Bynum, Gasol, Artest, kobe, and fisher is better than sheed, duncan, jefferson, manu, parker. Duncan and Sheed are both not who they were. Ginobli is coming off surgery, and Jefferson is a solid player but isn't a top ten sf.

If Sheed goes to the Celtics, then they're the team to beat, and would have the best starting 5 in basketball period if they went with Garnett, Sheed, Peirce, Allen, and Rondo. That team right there would be a matchup nightmare for any coach, especially in the frontcourt with both being able to step out and make shots. I like the Artest move from LA, and as of now, they have the best starting 5 in the league. But the Celtics are after Sheed hard, and I think it's going to happen.

I know, sheed in boston isn't very scary and I would take cleveland AND orlando over them. Sheed is OLD. Also, sheed in san antonio is equally non impressive. I like the spurs, but he is not the answer there IMO.

Do the Memphis fans here want Iverson?

Ginobli is coming off surgery, and Jefferson is a solid player but isn't a top ten sf. Um, how does 19.6 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, and almost 40 percent from three last year not make him a top ten small forward? Lol. Nah, that starting five is definitely better than the Lakers starting five, I think Artest is being overrated to a large extent myself, he's lost a lot of quickness defensively, funny how you guys are making comments like "they're old", Artest is no young gun himself, not to mention there's a lot of questions as to if he can fit in the triangle offense and live with being the third option, as opposed to being the first or second option like he was in Houston during these previous playoffs. Plus, he's literally insane, but that's a given.

There's a reason he hasn't signed with them already though. Why come off the bench for Boston (he won't start over Perkins, Boston isn't THAT dumb), a championship contender, when he can start for other championship contenders like San Antonio or Orlando. He's already quoted four months ago saying he wanted to play with Tim Duncan, that works well for the Spurs. I'm pretty confident they'll get him, and for all those that are saying he's done, he was on a crap team with Detroit last year, you put him on a contender, I think that hunger will appear again.
