i love seeing an ex redskins ruin the cowboys season... really why the hell would dallas pick up someone not good enough to be on the shity redskins. serves them right to lose Dude, they lost by 30 points...30 points, he missed 2 FGs? He didn't cost them anything. Revis maybe the best player in the NFL. He is so good. Yeah, it's hard to argue this...no way he should have been robbed of the DoPY. glad that fucking redneck lost. Being a somewhat redneck myself, from MS, that son of a bitch is just that, a bitch. NO OTHER PLAYER bitches as much as he does. Most other players would get a flag, hell in the NBA he would get a life time ban. It was cute for a while, but he needs to mature, he will not win much until he does. Another year, another letdown for San Diego. LT is bordering on most over rated, over hyped player of all time. Rivers is just competitive...I understand what you're saying there, but I guess that's the way I see it. But I don't understand what the hell you're saying with LT...no one overrates him anymore (we all know he is past his prime). But before that, he had an awesome 8 year run at running back (never got a shot at the postseason with injuries; maybe a few games) so what the hell are you talking about? And Wade Phillips is coming back for Dallas.

I agree revis is awesome. One of the best players in the NFL.
But woodson did more to help his team win. He scored how many TD's? Caused how many turnovers? I'm thinking his tackles were higher. And he played cb and safety.
I'd take revis over him, but production wise, woodson was better this year. Simply shutting one WR down usually doesn't help as much as playing good defense, causing turnovers, being integral in run support and gaining a ton of yards off turnovers.
Sharper was damn good this year too.
But damn revis is good. I hope he shuts Wayne down next week. I can't wait to watch.

its hard to cause turnovers when no one throws at you...

And that is part of it. We Titan fans understand, having one good cb, doesn't always have a huge impact. Then they just throw towards Nick Harper everytime.
I'm not trying to downplay revis. He is great. Best cb in the league. But over all 16 games, I think woodson was the better defender. Played multiple positions due to injuries. And those td's and yards after turnovers are so important.

Yeah, Ferg is right...he completely shuts down the #1 guy. If you noticed Fitz dominated Woodson in that Playoff game (I know it doesn't count towards the Postseason but still).
Revis is better and he still had 5-6 INTS during the year which is crazy. He dominated Andre Johnson who is arguably the best WR (between him and Fitz) in the game

i'm not saying revis isn't good....in fact, I'm saying he is the best CB in the league now, and probably for the next 4-6 years....
he shuts guys down.....
i'm laying the argument for woodson being deserving and revis not being "robbed" of anything
--woodson had 9 INT's --3 TD's --180 return yards on the turnovers --4 forced fumbles --74 tackles --2 sacks --and played CB, S, and nickel, depending on what was needed due to injuries

I never said that you said he wasn't good...hell, Woodson had one heck of a year, but man, it sure is tough seeing that Revis isn't getting that award.

Anyone think the Aints are going to beat the Colts? Hard to say. Their offense was pretty bad yesterday, but Minny's defense is a good deal better than Indy's IMO. However, the Colts still hung 30 on the Jets, they may get 50 against the Saints. The Saints were able to get pressure on Favre, if they can do that again against Peyton who knows. But its likely Peyton wont skull fuck his own team like Favre did his at the end of the game.

Yeah, and I think the Jets had a good O-line where they did okay against Freeny/Mathis...I don't know if NO can do that against those 2. Plus yeah, I agree completely with what you said about Peyton, he raped the best D so what he's going to do against the Saints.

No way I'd bet against Peyton Manning.
The Jets defense is great...the Colts made it look easy in the second half. Garcon/Collie looked like Wayne/Harrison. He's sick.

only way Saints can win is if they score 50, and hell, that might not be enough!! Its hard to say how good indy's D is b/c they havent faced anybody in the playoffs yet from an offensive standpoint.
Saints D has to be worried though. Indy just wont turn it over like Minny did. Thats the only thing that kept the saints in the game. but hey, a little luck never hurt anybody!!
