Tcu, Boise, and cincy are going to be screwed this year. Go undefeated and get shafted because some "think" Texas or Bama or Florida is better.
What a fucking sham.
Only a tourney can prevent this crap.
Why even play the bowl games? A handful of idiots already know how teams stack up against each other. Why play anygame? Just recruit, vote, hand out awards, and pat each other on the back
I mean, in 2006, espn not only knew that USC was #1, they knew they were the best college team of all fucking time. Unfortunately for espn and USC, Vince young didn't get the memo. Funny things happen when champions are decided on the field rather than on email ballots.

Yeah, sucks that they are gonna get left out.
To be honest with you, I think Cincy is a legit team. THey have played some good teams. Boise played one game, against Oregon, and won. TCU, i have seen play once or twice, and they looked awesome, but it was inferior opponents.
To be honest with you, these teams have to realize that you CANNOT just go undefeated, you wanna win a national title? You are gonna have to go on the road, take less payout, and play all your OOC opponents from BCS conferences. Wanna see an OOC schedule, check Ga. Tech. Thats how you do it.
However, having said all that, I do think the best team in the country is one of the current top 3. I think Cincy could play with them, but I feel like Boise and TCU would not put up much of a fight.

IMO tcu has the best def out of the 3 left out teams and would have the best shot against the trio of media favorites.
This bit of speculating is pointless. I mean, if tcu played Texas am, they would kill them, yet Texas barely squeaked by.
Gotta go to tourney. Only way.

I agree. Hell, as an Ole Miss fan, i know thats the only way we would ever win a title, and we are in a BCS conference. See Auburn a few years ago, being in a BCS conference and going undefeated doesnt gurantee anything, you have to be one of the top tier programs to get enough recognition preseason and start high in the polls.
Looks like I will be headed back to Dallas for another ass kicking of whatever lame ass Big 12 team shows up (hopes its not Oklahoma). At least it will be in Jerry-ville. I am gonna enjoy the game, then take a big shit in my seat after the game, and leave it for the Suck-Boys.

30-0 shutout of Wash. St. Cougars, so now they can shut the fuck up for awhile. Go pull your mouth out of your favorite Cougar asshole and shut the fuck up for awhile. Tired of these pullman bullshit fuckers talking shit with only that win last year.

Yeah, it's a shame because I think TCU/Boise State/Cincy have good teams, but they have no shot. 6 undefeated teams (obviously will go down to 5 after sec championship) is really a reason for why we need an 8-team playoff...and then put all other teams that aren't in top 8 to play in the bowl games.

1st: Alabama beat the shit out of Florida, up and down the field. I for one am glad, really tired of seeing Tebow all over the fucking place. Roll Tide.
2nd: Texas, really?? Nebraska gets it 1st and 9 and cant get a TD? Then kick a FG to go ahead, and kick the mother fucker out of bounds so Texas starts on the 40? Then a lame ass fucking horse collar to give Texas a nice free 15 yards to put them squarely in FG range? Give me a break, I know its the rule, but I hate the fact that the national championship was HEAVILY influenced by a fucking horse collar call, ESPECIALLY considering that the REF right there didnt call it, rather a ref all the way across the field who apparently likes to see himself on TV. That was fucking horrible.
Oh well, I think 'Bama is gonna roll Texas or Cinncy or TCU. See them in 6 fucking weeks, NCAA so stupid...

First off, Texas is going to be in the Nation Championship game...I have no clue why you think there's a chance of that not going to happen.
Now, I was really hoping Texas would have lost because I really wanted to see TCU play against BAMA. Cincy has no D and TCU is more complete.
Yeah, who knows what would happen, but it's a rule and the refs have a job to do, and they really don't care about the circumstances...its clearly a horse collar tackle. That player should be quicker instead of grabbing to it.
Colt Mccoy is horrible for even running a play at the end where it almost seriously cost them a shot for playing in the championship game.
The Nebraska DT is beyond AMAZING...that guy is a beast and sure thing in the NFL draft.
CJ Spiller reminds a little bit of Chris Johnson...to me the best back by far for this draft.
And the championship game will suck because BAMA is going to absolutely dominate Texas.

oh no doubt Texas is playing Bama. And i think thats right. Had Cinncy just DESTROYED Pitt, maybe there could be an argument, but they didnt look impressive either in their win.
now the fun starts when you start trying to pick the matchups.
We have:
Sugar: Florida vs. At-large
Rose: Ohio State vs. Oregon
Orange: Ga. Tech vs. At-large
Fiesta: TCU vs. At-large
That leaves: Boise, Cinncy, plus a Big-10 team (Iowa most likely, maybe Penn State)
I will go with Ga. Tech getting the Big 10 team, so Ga. Tech vs. Iowa in the Orange.
I think the most likely scenario is Cinncy to Sugar vs. Florida then TCU Vs. Boise. Not my choice.
I would go with Florida vs. Boise, then TCU vs. Cinncy in the Fiesta.

Yeah, I think TCU should play Cincy as well.
Are we going to do something here with picking the Bowl Games? I love doin' that.

The Eagles defense was terrible with the way they couldn't wrap up and make the tackles.

both teams D were terrible, old timers of the eagle/giants series are just shaking their heads. having said that the Eagles have what the Giants need: a playmaker. The Giants (eli) threw 3 or 4 balls that were 20+ yard gainers only to have them dropped. 2 were TD's for sure, i mean wide fucking open and dropped.
Then Smith being lazy near the out of bounds line cost another TD. Oh well, no excuses, Eagles just made more plays, i would rather they win than the Cowboys. Hopefully the Giants can win out and get the wildcard.

Locker staying in the W baby. Such good news for the Huskies next year. Pac-10 will be the toughest conference next year for sure.
