Looks like the first 4 picks are locked up according to ESPN.
1. Bradford 2. Suh 3. Mccoy 4. Berry
This isn't a very exciting first 4 picks, but after that it will get very interesting

Stupid there is only the first round on. You could easily do three rounds on the first day. Nobody is going to stop what they are doing on Friday night and watch the 2nd and third round, lol. More people would watch it tonight, and there should not be so much damn time between picks, they know who they are going to take, 5 mins per pick.

Agreed!
I'm not watching tomorrow. And the NBA was smart to put on the Cavs, and Lakers playoff games tonight. They are going to kill the NFL in ratings tonight. The draft isn't going to be watched after 5 tonight.

I'll be watching the Sharks game, but if that wasn't on I'd watch the draft over game 3 in the NBA playoffs anytime.
I like that they're doing just the 1st round today, I think it will create a lot more drama for the 2nd round by adding a ton of trade talk. The GMs can look at who is available and what their needs are overnight instead of being forced to analyze things in an hour or two during previous drafts.

Stork you don't even like the NBA........................ That is one thing I remember from my time with you guys. Your a college hoops guy, not a big NBA guy.

I'm a college hoops guy as well over the NBA...also, I'm watching the Flyers game so I'll miss a good portion of the NFL Draft.

for the duration of the draft (picks 1-32), the average rating will beat the nba rating over that same period.....now, maybe if when the draft is at like 28 and kobe is getting ready to make a game winner, they might win that 15 minute segment, but overall, averaged over the entire draft duration, the nfl will slaughter the nba in ratings

Both of those series' are gurantee wins, the NFL draft would slaughter some NBA finals games I think. Its not even close. Maybe not the Lakers/Celtics finals, but the Lakers/Magic, oh yeah.
Man i fucking hope CJ Spiller drops to the Giants, that would be the tits.

well no CJ Spiller...and Raiders, WTF? ? man, the Raiders are fucking terrible and will continue to be. Like Mel said on TV, it was widely known around the SEC that McClain was being given tackles he didnt even make to inflate his stats/draft stock/alabama's ego. there was a nice video on Youtube of every single play from a game and he recorded something like 6 tackles and was credited with 11....never doubt how far Alabama's tentacles reach.
