Rashad is a bitch for saying he will stand toe-to-toe and box with Rampage. I knew what he was going to do before the fight, especially after watching his last fight he did.
Not saying it wasn't smart to get the win, it was, cause when it comes down to it, some like the money more than the fans screaming.
All I am saying is, don't act all tough and try to say your going to knock their head off, than come in and try to win a wrestling match.

You didn't read what i said! I said when a guy says he is going to knock someones head off and he hates them, then that's what I'm expecting to see. Not someone trying to just win a fight by judges decision. When Couture fought Liddell he gave everyone a show! I can respect that, because they built it up as a slugfest! You should read what I wrote before you assume I'm saying that Rashad can't fight or he is a bitch. I have nothing but respect for all fighters and all styles. My issue is that he talked about doing one thing, and did a complete other thing in the ring. So I think he acted like a bitch by not trying to murder Rampage, and instead leaving it for the Judges. I really felt like I was watching a damn exhibition fight You must be disappointed in a lot of fights then, because no one ever does what they say they are going to do during the prefight interviews. Everyone goes in saying "I'm gonna knock him out in the 1st round", but how often does that happen? What did you want him to say? "Yeah, I'm gonna go in there and play the smart fight by pushing Rampage up against the cage for 15 minutes. You think I want to risk getting hit by those lunchboxes?!" That kind of marketing doesn't sell very many fights. I'm also glad you brought up Couture/Liddell. What happened in that fight that they billed as a "slugfest"? Couture got KTFO because he has no business throwing hands with Chuck. I'm not sure what was said before the Couture/Sylvia fight, but I guarantee Couture didn't say "I'm gonna take this tall mother fucker down and lay on him for 25 minutes". Rashad talked a big talk to hype the fight, then fought a smart fight. He doubled his paycheck and earned the chance to fight for another title, and THAT is what these guys are fighting for.

That is why I love guys like Chris Lytle, who go for the Fight of the Night and Ko of the night. The guy is a BJJ black belt, but goes in there to just slugfest every time.

Rashad talked a big talk to hype the fight, then fought a smart fight. He doubled his paycheck and earned the chance to fight for another title, and THAT is what these guys are fighting for. My issue is with Rashad saying he was going to knock him out. I was a fool and didn't take it as just hype, but instead that he was really going to knock him the hell out. I thought I was going to see a brawl. My issue isn't with the way he fights, the issue is that he said he was going to do one thing and didn't even try to deliver. All he cared about was winning the judges decision. As someone who bought into the hype of the match, that is very disappointing. Your taking what I said and generalizing it to all fights. This is about this one fight, when a guy talked my ear off for a year and a half about all the things he was going to do. And when the lights were at it's brightest all he wanted to do was fight for position, and win each round by grappling. This was different then any other fight. This was being built up as the greatest grudge match in the UFC's history. So it is probably my fault for buying into it.
