Im hoping V tech kills bosie tonight. I am sick and tired of hearing how they need a shot at the title. Bosie would finish 5 or 6th is a real conference, its a joke they can play a schd full of juco teams and still be in the title picture. Your a fucking idiot. How about they just play every year, but tell their players they will never have a shot at the title, so don't come here. The BCS is flawed and every team should have a shot or chance at winning the title. That's why a playoff system works best. Absolutely agree with OT here...Boise has won their BSC bowl games, too...

Bosie has 2 wins in their last 7 bowl games. Only 2 wins were the BCS games. One was on a trick play vs a OU team that didnt show up bc they thought the devserved a real oppenent. And last year they beat TCU who is another non BCS team.
How is it fair that all the other top 10 teams are going to have to play sched were they play to their own level. And Bosie gets to play a sched where they are a 30 point favorite every game. Win 1 game and get a bye to the BCS title game is bull. In the SEC youll have to win against 5-6 top 20 school to make it. if they do somehow win today I will cheer for them to lose every game after it
And its their fault they cant make the title game... change to a better confernce. Pac10 Big 12 and Big 10 all were adding teams in the offseason, but bosie goes to another cream puff conf. Stop dodging the big schools, if you want to be champ you should have to goes through a champ sched like every one esle!

to get into those bowl games OU has to beat 2-3 top 10 teams then play in a conf champ game. If there was a playoff then i wouldnt argue boise doesnt deserve a title shot, but beating the 3rd or 4th best ACC team then getting a bye to the champ isnt right... do you think its fair to a 1 loss SEC team who has to win a conf champ game to be left out of the BCS title.

If that team that is replacing them has the body of work to backup the justification of being there........ yes! Your talking about a Boise team that is returning damn near all of the starters from a BCS team a season ago. So if they have another undefeated regular season, then they deserve to be considered for a title game. But I wouldn't be for them being a top team just on name recognition, they would have to have the body of work to justify why they should be considered.

Even if Boise wins tonight and runs the table their computer score will be weak as hell, thus they will need there to be several one loss teams to jump ahead of. If there are 3 undefeateds and the other 2 come from BCS conferences they lose out, end of story.
But Fuck My Life, my team lost to a D-1AA school. Gonna be a LONG season I think.

I'm only saying consideration! Undefeated season only puts them in the conversation imo. I think an undefeated schedule for them, would mean more than a 1 loss team in almost all major conferences besides the Big 12, and SEC. (maybe Big Ten)

I've love to see Boise State run the table and make it to the championship game then get KILLED by a major BCS school. I think that's the fastest way to a playoff, which is the only way I'll really care about college football postseason.

ACC is one of the worst BCS conferences (big east worst) but still with the U, FSU, and Va tech its no cake wake to go undeafted in it like you would need to in order to make the title game

After watching that game last night, I think Boise can play with any team in football! The thing that impressed me the most is the number of athletes they have. They remind me of a Butler team in basketball. A team full of seniors and juniors, who have star players. They are just as good as any other team, but it will only be for that season. Then they will drop off a bit, and be great again in 2-3 seasons.
As of now, this team is worthy of a top 5 ranking! If they win the rest of their games by 15 or more points and beat OSU, I say they deserve the chance to play if no other teams are undefeated.
Side note: Nike made Boise State, TCU, Oregon, and Virginia Tech some sick ass uniforms!

I think Boise is a good team, but we just wont know how good. It takes a great team to beat quality teams week in and week out. They just wont have to do that. Sorry. But two games against ranked teams (if OSU is ranked then) just doesnt cut it when some teams will play 6 ranked teams.
As far as which BCS conferences are the weakest, I would say the SEC is far and above the best, dont believe check the results. Then you have the Big12, Big10+2, Pac10, ACC. I think those 4 are pretty equal all around as far as football goes. I know some like to hate on the ACC, but with the U, FSU, Va. Tech and Ga Tech they have some really quality teams. UNC has a good year every now and then as well. The big east is by far the worst, but hey somebody has to be last.
I am with whoever said they hope Boise makes it and gets beat 60-0 b/c I think that would be a STRONG vote for a playoff. Say a big 6 team goes undefeated, lets say Alabama. Then you have 5 or 6 one loss teams from Big 6 schools, and an undefeated Boise State. If they put Boise in the title game and Bama skull fucks them like 50-0 then those one loss teams will be SUPER BITCHING about it. Thats a dream scenario.

And this will get us one step closer to a playoff! Teams get better after time, so to punish a team that may have loss early i nthe season is idiotic to me. You never know who the best team is, if the best teams aren't all playing. Who is a computer to tell us who the best two teams are? Geeks shouldn't decide who plays for the title, the teams should
