Never take the Spurs on a second game of a back-to-back. It's usually not pretty. Add in the fact that this was the Rockets home opener - they wanted it much more than a team that just thoroughly dismantled the anointed new kings of the West (Clippers).
Mavs need to win this game right now. 0-3 would be devastating.

My boy Lowry with near triple double against spurs. Rox needed that win. Kevin Martin needed a good shooting night before pitch forks ready to come out in Houston.

They needed a night to rest their guys and they did it against the Rockets, who aren't a good team but played above their capabilities just for the sheer emotional aspect of it being their home opener. At least that's how I see it.

Rockets haven't had a losing Season since 2005-2006. They didn't make the playoffs the last 2 years because the west is tough. They would have in east. In other words, they are in the top half of the league.

Was very happy to see the Sixers destroy the Suns. The game wasn't nearly as close as the final score, and the Sixers won by 20.
I think the 76ers win the Atlantic. Thought this before the season, due to continuity, youth, and the Celtics being old, and old teams should have issues this year. Knicks got better with Chandler, but I think they will find ways to lose.

I feel like I'm the only one who didn't totally love the Chandler move. That guy has been injury-prone all of his career and you expect him to stay fully healthy through a 66 shortened-season? Not a chance. Same theory applies to Bynum on the Lakers. Sixers are very deep, have a stellar bench, and a coach who resembles the dad they want to so badly please and have him be proud of them. Going to be fun to watch that squad this year.

Cant believe how much the knicks just bent over and took it from my lakers yesterday
here I am thinking the knicks are a huge threat, cant understand why melo spends so much time on the bench, very dissapointed with them
The 76ers are the moeny today, alot of short legs and easy wins yet the 76ers are going to add value to multis and parlays today, they should smash utah today
i have no idea who is gunna win the bulls clippers game today, Im gunna go the clippers because the bulls are playin back to back away games!!

If you want an EASY win tonight take the Celtics.
I've lost my butt on the two early bowl games. Not sure what I'll be doing tonight, have a Poker tourney to play in too..lol

In random NBA action tonight the Grizz fucking killed the Rockets, makes no sense. The NBA is gonna be random for a few weeks I think. Grizz have some intersting young guys in Selby and Pargo.
