Miller has a use, but it's as offense off the bench, preferably late in quarters, when you need another shooter on the floor. And that's it.

Despite all the fawning over the Heat for getting the big 3 they just proved that you can't do that and build a great team. If the east wasn't a pile of shit last year there is no way they could have made the finals. I expect the Bulls to beat them easily should they face each other, but really other than that the East is still a mess. The Celtics are old and busted, the Hawks could be good if they cared, the Knicks are a joke, seriously, what the hell is going on in the East?

The Celtics are old and busted, the Hawks could be good if they cared, the Knicks are a joke, seriously, what the hell is going on in the East? This season is going to wreck old teams. So the Celts have issues. And the Knicks are a joke, but not as bad as the mess, I mean, the Nets. Bulls look good in that division, and I expect them to be the 1 seed. Pacers are decent & improving. Hawks are what the Wizards aspire to be - a team that plays selfishly and wins more than they lose. The Magic have managed to play well enough to take the lead in the Southeast, and maybe they keep Howard, and add another guy - who knows? The Heat have once again shown they are poorly constructed. Bosh is sort of the issue - a very expensive 3rd wheel. The 76ers are the anti-Heat, and most definitely not a mess. Other than the Brand, "the Old Chevy", Iguodala is the old man of the rotation, and he's 27 - turns 28 this month. And they are fun to watch. I was thinking we nmight have a decent shot at the Atlantic, but now I'm sort of thinking they can steal the 2 seed if things continue well. And that's a big deal.

Yeah, I have been seeing a lot of Buzz about the 6ers, but I have yet to see them play. They get about as many national TV games as the Grizz do LOL. I wish my cable company had League Pass, I would get that shit in a heart beat.

They are among those with the fewest games on regular TV this season. Which is odd, since Philly isn't close to a small TV market.

well i have decided to include the 76ers in my parlay today, togh game against Denver so i will leave my decision on the 76ers until after this game
they havent had the hardest run so far, but are playing impressive ball
Still can not believe the utter patheticness of the knicks, with Melo and stoudamire they should be doing alot better, chandler has not provided the defence they needed!!

NBA is rough to bet on. I had the Spurs ML with Wade out and I had the Heat teased the other way, but both were going under in points, Spurs up by 17 in the game, then all of a sudden Heat without Wade score 119 and most of it in 2nd half, so fucks my ML and my teaser, lol.
You know teams don't play defense, when you score 39 points in one quarter, looked like the Spurs thought they won at half, all went home and the Spurs kept playing in a pick up game with the rest of the players. LOL, fucking terrible the NBA is, can't even watch it to bet on it because of all the runs they have, too fucking nerve racking.

That's why I don't bet on the NBA involving points. It's not college sports bad, but it's still bad. Frankly, I only find the NFL worthy of dealing with points. Everything else is too uncertain.
MadMan, the problem isn't Chandler's defense - it's that STAT is indifferent on defense, except for blocks, and Melo is almost as interested in defense as Mike Miller.

I actually find college better to bet on as my track record shows, haha. Maybe it's just because I watch more CBB.

Because in the US, players are bigger fish than coaches in most of the major sports, and stars are that way as early as high school in some places, especially in basketball.

kfil, bna, phdsims, Sativa Gimme a good reason NOT to bet the Grizz BIG tonight. My favorite play of the night. Well we had it going early, looks like yall might keep it close, hard to tell. We are up 12 with 6min to go, we could win by 20 or lose by 1. Our bench is so awful. JOsh FUCKING Davis is logging minutes.

Well, the 76ers are 2-0 so far in their 7 game stretch of tough opponents. I really want to see a win over the Heat on Friday.
