I see patty mills got a start yesterday then Neal dominated off the bench Did neals efforts hurt mills? I would say no just because the Spurs are currently looking for someone to backup Parker. It's clear that Gary Neal is a great shooting guard but his handles are suspect, especially his ability to run an offense. Mills is kind of a tweener too but he's quicker and a better passer than Neal is. Love watching Patty play, he's just a ball of energy anytime he's on the court. Hope he finds a consistent spot in the rotation this year.

The fine by Stern on the Spurs is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. If he cared about the fans so much, how about you tell all the owners to lower the fucking ticket prices. 82 damn games and half the league makes the playoffs is absurd with those ticket prices.
You think players don't take nights off when they are winning games a lot? Reason why top teams lose or barely win against shitty teams in the NBA.
Go Sonics, FUCK THE NBA AND STERN. I want to see fines at the end of the season now for teams already in the playoffs and benching stars. Still a regular season game, what are no fans showing up for those games? If it is about the fans, game 82 should matter just as much as a game in November.

Well said on both accounts...so stupid. David Stern is a fucking idiot.

Stern is why the Sonics don't have a team anymore. They could have made it to where the team was sold locally, but that wasn't good enough they wanted a new arena with huge rich people boxes and less actual fanship. That move was set up for sure.

Hack-a-Howard
Hahaha
Last night in Houston was great. The entire arena was laughing at Dwight. Quite a spectacle.

Man, my 76ers are worse than I thought they'd be this year. I really wish we didn't deal Vucevic, and I had a feeling we'd be missing him.
I expect Bynum will not play for the 76ers past this season, if he even plays at all this season. Somebody is going to give him a big contract, and I don't want any part of that at this point.

Grizz have regressed to the mean, and now apparently are shopping Rudy Gay. I am not surprised, I wouldn't pay the lux tax for that team either if I were the owner. They are not winning a title as is, so why pay the tax?

Well, at least we have seen progression in Holiday/Turner. I think they could have been a really good team with Bynum so that does blow.

Spurs have remained excellent so far this year.
Despite tons of road games in little time, they still have one of the best records in the league. Scary when you consider they will be practically living at home in the final months of the season.
Duncan continues to be just simply incredible. He looks somehow quicker than he was last season. The man never ceases to amaze.
A much improved Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard, and their ridiculously deep bench, has me confident in their chances.

I agree, they weathered the storm of the last 2 years and didn't panic. Now green amd Leonard are ready. Scary team this year in wide open west.

Even when the Lakers traded for Dwight Howard I wasn't panicking. I knew the media would blow it all out of proportion and not consider the Lakers severe lack of depth into the equation. To me it's a three-team race between the Spurs, Thunder, and Clips. Grizzlies could very well challenge them but I just think they are a better team without Rudy Gay. When Marc and Z-Bo get more shots, it's a good thing.
