It seemed like everything that went right in 2011 against SA went wrong this year for the Grizz.
I really like them, they were arguably the most underrated team in the league, as they have been for quite some time.
It's sweet to get back to the Finals! I just wanted one more shot to see Timmy get his fifth. Now we have it. We'll see what happens.

I didn't see the want to win from all the grizz players collectively in all the games. Zbo was horrible, Prince was horrible and I saw many times that they didn't even get back on defense to help on fast breaks. Tony Allen was one of the only players to sweat blood and try and win.

We certainly looked out of place at times, but this is not a lazy team. We went to OT twice, once after over coming an 18 pt deficit, and once after giving up an 18 pt lead, so it was a really strange series from a mental standpoint. Certainly at the end of games some of our guys were gassed from exerting so much effort on D. Like someone said earlier, the Spurs offense is a thing to marvel at. So much different that the Clipps/Thunder 2 and 1 man games, respectively. If you watch 4 games in a row of the Spurs its not hard to see why a player like Richard Jefferson never fit in or caught on. Man, David Stern is going to shit his pants if it ends up Pacers/Spurs. That would just be awesome.

I wonder if Stern will give Popovich his money back if they win the title, haha. It is an odd year, bet big on the Spurs!

Spurs are just good. A testament to their front office and coaching/developmental staff that they have taken guys like Green/Splitter/Leonard and made them good players. In a lot of places those guys just waste away. I wish Darko had ended up in SA at some point, they could have made him a fucking BAWSE. Def. be rooting for the Spurs to beat the Heat, though I am not quite sure how that happens, but it can be done. Really curious to see how they approach guarding LeBron. At this point I don't really think you can contain LeBron. Best approach to me is minimizing the impact of Wade/Bosh, and simply throwing Kawhi at LeBron with a fresher Danny Green on him when Leonard needs a breather. Then just hope he doesn't blow up for 35 or 40. Pop is a master at adjustments so its going to be interesting what he approach will be throughout the series (assuming if there is one). However, if LeBron is averaging 28/7/5 on 53% against the #1 defense then I have little hope for San Antonio. On a side note: has anyone noticed Chris Bosh's rebounding this series? His rebounding totals for the first four games are 2, 5, 3, and 3. Awful.

you know, it always feel good the morning after the Heat lose. Fuck the Heat.
Pacers won't win the series, but it is at least more entertaining than a 4-0 sweep.
c'mon tony parker....he needs to shred mario fucking chalmers and norris cole

If the Pacers can stretch it to 7 games then the Heat will only get 2 days off (ECF end June 3rd and the Finals start on the 6th).

Yeah, Parker should score 40 on Cole if they leave him on him, but I am guessing even Spolstra can figure out a way to get someone different on him. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lebron on him some.

As a Grizz fan I have been ignoring bball for a while LOL. I am kinda mad I just quit watching b/c it looks like the Pacers/Heat series was good, I only saw games 6 and 7, and 7 was a dud.
Interested to see if the Spurs have anything for the Heat. I think they can win if they get great shooting from Bonner and Ginobli. Bosh should be a non factor against the Spurs bigs, but then again, the Heat don't have any players than can go unguarded like the King Of Memphis Tony Allen. So will be a totally different game than the Grizz game plan.

The Spurs having 9 days to prepare and the Heat having only 2 days after a 7 game series with the NBA's #1 defense is gonna be huge.

That Parker shot was insane, but just more of the same from him for this season. He never would have won it, but without his injury he SHOULD have received votes for MVP. I think they said statistically its been one of his best. Just seems like his midrange game is unstoppable right now.
Miami should realize the Spurs missed a lot of wide open looks that they generally don't, yet still managed to stay close and pull out a win with Miami shooting lights out from 3 in the 1st half. With the funky ass finals format it might not make it back to Miami!!!

Blows my mind some didn't even have Parker as a top 3-5 PG.
To be fair to Miami, LeBron probably won't score less than 20 points again. Regardless game 2 should be entertaining.

I've been saying it for a while, Parker is the best point guard in the league.
He regularly outplays Chris Paul when they go head to head, and he's a better shooter than Rose.
Thrilled the Spurs got Game 1. I said before this series that they would win in 6, maybe 5 now.
They didn't even shoot that well in Game 1 and Miami isn't going to get that much more production from Bosh/Wade at this point.
Really liking the Spurs chances.
