Not panicking.
It sucked not going up 3-1 but that is the most intense and desperate I have seen the Heat play this postseason.
The Spurs will now adjust their defense and not let Wade take any midrange shot he pleases like they did the first three games when he was bricking them. Basically have Green blanket him the same way he did Curry during the GS series would be my guess.
LeBron hit a bunch of contested, really bad shot choices that just went in. If he keeps doing that it's going to be tough to win.
Crazy thing is, even with the Big Three scoring like that, which doesn't happen anymore, I still the Spurs had a chance to win the game if not for all the turnovers and offensive rebounds they gave up.
That's the big thing. And I don't think I'm asking for much when I ask for just one, ONE big game from Manu here. They need him bad and this postseason he's been all over the place. Hoping Game 5 is the game...

Obviously a big IF, but if D-Wade shows up the way he can...then the Spurs are done.

Obviously a big IF, but if D-Wade shows up the way he can...then the Spurs are done. I disagree. The Spurs were in that game until about the middle of the 4th quarter or so. Even with Miami's Big Three scoring as well as they were, the Spurs were in it. It really just came down to turnovers and Miami pounding the glass. Even with Miami's Big Three playing well I think the Spurs can win, as long as they stop turning it over so much and box out and get boards. That, and a vintage Manu performance, will be keys to Game 5.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want the Heat to win, but that's what I think. When Wade is on...he's so good. You can't contain him...obviously, it's probably just a one game thing, but if it isn't, then the Spurs are in serious trouble.
Manu looks old...I hope he can string together a few decent games.

That may have been the best Finals game I have ever seen. I don't understand what the fuck Pop was thinking though. You'd think after the first time they failed to secure a rebound, he wouldn't take out Duncan AGAIN but instead the Heat sink two 3's off offensive rebounds to send it to overtime.
Manu was a trainwreck. He shouldn't have been playing nearly the entire 4th quarter and overtime.

Yeah, the Manu and Tim substitution patterns were odd. Like some shit Lionel Hollins would have done. I *somewhat* understand the Duncan sub b/c you are defending a 3 pt basket, but if Miami leave Bosh in the game there is no reason to take Duncan out IMO.
Either way, a great game. Feel like SA has to be really disappointed they gave away an NBA title not once, but TWICE in a game. Like Van Gundy said, if it were any other team I would say they are fucking toast and will get killed in game 7, but the Spurs have shown themselves to be a resilient bunch over the years, so we will see.
Also, and I hate to sound like a whiner, but fuck Bosh full body checked Green on the last 3 pt attempt. If Parker had done that to Ray Allen on his 3pt that tied the game then he sure as fuck would have gotten called for a foul. I just hate the "its the end of the game they won't call it shit" b/c it just becomes Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball at that point, which I loved by the way.

It's the day after and I'm still emotionally devastated. Can't even put into words what happened last night. I'm just too into this crap man, it kills me.

Pop was an absolute fool to have Duncan out of the game. Makes ZERO sense...He's a great Coach, obviously, but what the hell was he thinking?
Also, I couldn't stand when the announcers were saying Manu got fouled at the end of OT...he literally took like 4-6 steps to the hoop...such a walk.

He walked but everyone acts like he didn't get fouled before he walked, which he did. He got absolutely hammered and took about three steps on his way to doing it. But I'm not going to blame reffing for that loss. Spurs were a rebound away from a title and couldn't come down with it.

Yeah Manu and Green were BOTH fouled in the final 10 or so seconds in the game too.
Why couldn't Manu just call a freaking timeout? :/

Manu was so out of control on that play that he deserved no call...anyway, Pop is to blame for the loss. One of the best REB of all time not in the game...just laughable.

Can't believe Duncan missed that shot and even worse Manu was once again god awful in the final 2 minutes. So many opportunities for San Antonio to win game 7.
Danny Green was practically invisible the last two games. Leonard was the unsung hero of the series, can't recall any bad game from him and he's only in his 2nd year.

Leonard is going to be a real nice player...
Also, Danny Green should've been benched by halftime of game 7...he was such a negative for the Spurs.
