From the Oklahoman...
• Stojakovic to sit next three games: Peja Stojakovic will not play in the team's next three games, coach Scott said Sunday. Stojakovic, who has missed the past three games, is still recovering from what the team is listing as back spasms.
Stojakovic joined his teammates during the early portion of Sunday's practice, coach Scott said. But the shooting guard ducked out before the media was permitted inside the session and was not available for comment after practice.
Scott said Stoajkovic is progressing and was able to shoot some Sunday and ride a stationary bike for 20 minutes, a routine he'll likely maintain until at least Thursday.
"He's still sore," Scott said. "He was able to push it a little (Sunday), but I don't want him to push it too much."
• West update: Forward David West said Sunday that the swelling and soreness in his right elbow is slowly going away. West, who will not play for at least the next three games, said he will meet with the team's doctor again today to undergo an MRI exam to determine how much progress his elbow has made.
West hasn't played since Nov. 12 and has yet to resume shooting with his right arm to avoid risking further damage or swelling in his elbow.
"I don't want to take a chance at doing something too early that will get it angry again," West said. "Once I'm able to shoot, I think I'll be able to (return)."
