they do play the same game but i really dont like to watch the west play, they're style seems...different
Western Conference team seems more upbeat and plays offense, eastern confernce team IMO seems more defensive minded which is what i like more (Not sure why) So i guess the only time i watch the wetsern conference team's when they play an eastern conference opponent but since Melo got drafted, ive only watched him play during the Wolves series in the playoff. I just....dont get a high off watchin so much offense up and down the court

lets just say melo is not well respected by the coaches in the league, while pau gasol is alot more respected... how much does coaches not liking melo play into him not making the all star team? idk but i wouldnt vote for him thats for sure i think a few coaches feel the same

i wouldnt vote for melo either, he's still young and he can still be better then he is, he's sort of inconsistant as a leader still

i wouldnt vote for melo either, he's still young and he can still be better then he is, he's sort of inconsistant as a leader still couldn't disagree more. i'd think about actually reading about the league and/or watching before i commented. george karl plainly challenged anthony before the season to be the go-to player on the nuggets. not sure what more he'd have to do to prove himself. seems like in this crowd, scoring 100 points per game wouldn't be enough, with one guy who never watches him or reads about him and another who just doesn't like him. solid reasons, all around.

i think i can safley say melo is not well liked by coaches around the league ok, i think we can definitely agree on that for sure. i still can't believe the 3rd leading scorer in a conference isn't put on the All-Star team.

when a guy is one of the top 7 scorers in the league, i'm not sure how respect comes into it, i guess. he's a top player - i just don't see how respect for a player is relevant.
i also think expanding each conference's roster isn't a bad idea. each all-star roster has had 12 players on it since the league was pretty small. now that the league has 30 teams and has grown a ton, a lot of deserving players are left off like anthony and dwight howard.
