Have a movie thread, so figure we should have a game one (we probably do and it just got lost in the shuffle)
If you're a South Park fan the new stick of truth game is worth checking out. I wasn't really into it for the first couple hours, but it started to grow on me. The plus for the game is that trey and matt were actually involved so it has some pretty funny stuff, although it missed the mark on some occasions. Also has some fucked up stuff that you wouldn't expect in a video game. Just talking about it in the break room at work offended one of the older guys. The game itself is extremely easy though so if you're looking for a great RPG by itself this probably isn't the game to get. I had it on the hardest difficulty and halfway through was killing guys with one hit and having nil trouble winning battles and I've only played a handful of RPGs in my life. The humor is what keeps you interested though. Probably not much for replay value unless they release some DLC or you wait a year to play it again where you've forgotten some of the jokes. Depending on if you just want to beat the main game or also beat the side quests, etc it'll probably last 12-16 hours.
Also, when running around the neighborhood there can be noticeable slowdown and the autosave is kind of suspect. Toward the end the game froze on me and 2 of the 3 autosave files were fucked. Luckily the last one worked. This was the ps3 version

Been hearing a lot about this game. Might have to check it out.
I bought Bioshock Infinite a few weeks ago and just couldnt get into it. So many people rec'd it so prob just me, but I found it boring as hell.

how long did you play it? I thought infinite was pretty good. Last of Us is another one. Kind of like a cross between uncharted, metal gear, and resident evil

Prob not long enough, and the weapons/controls seemed odd to me. But I had played mostly Classic FPS for the most part.

anyone else play clash of clans for phone/tablet? Pretty much everyone I work with plays it and is in a clan, so I kind of had no choice but to start playing. Just started yesterday and curious if anyone else plays/played. I'm questioning how much I'll keep playing since even though it's free and seems fun I don't like the idea that people willing to spend money have a clear advantage. If any of you play have you had success without spending any money?

Yeah I play it with some people at work, You can go hard like a lot of these games and drop a few bucks per month to get ahead, I've gone the slow option and just taken my time. Ive played for about a year on and off and haven't dropped any coin yet. just keep upgrading all of your gold and elixir storage and drills etc that way you always have resources coming in. Also you don't really have to worry about people having a clear advantage, you only ever get attacked if your have a lot of resources for people to steal. no matter what level you are thats the only time it effects you. I just take my time and keep improving my base. Its therapeutic lol

Been playing the new browser based basketball sim, this was an ending to a game 6 in playoffs vs Warriors, I am Grizz, only change was trading Zbo + Ed Davis for Kobe LOLOOLOL. We were down 3 with 33 secs to go when it starts at bottom.
0:06 - MEM - Marc Gasol made a mid-range shot (assist: Mike Conley) (104-103)
0:20 - MEM - Jon Leuer grabbed the offensive rebound
0:20 - MEM - Mike Conley missed a free throw
0:20 - GSW - Foul on David Lee
0:20 - MEM - Mike Conley made a dunk/layup and got fouled! (assist: Nick Calathes) (102-103)
0:33 - GSW - Harrison Barnes turned the ball over

So this sim thing is kind of fun, but not very in depth. It clearly over values outside shooters, the Warriors are fucking unstoppable. Also, no control over game play is kind of a glaring omission. If they added that aspect it would be a really nice game. The contract negotiations are fun.

Anyone else here getting Destiny? I would if it was on PC. I am huge Bungie fan. I remember the golden days of hooking up our Xbox brick through some slingshot/rubberband bootleg ass portal and playing multiplayer on original Blood Gulch. Good shit. And I thought the stat tracking and things they were doing with Halo 2/3 were awesome. I remember getting in the Halo 3 Beta and feeling like I won the lotto. I will probably find a friend who has it and check it out. I have heard rumors that it will come to PC in 2015, we will see.

Wow, didn't even notice it wasn't on PC, must be taking the GTA route to reduce piracy. It'll probably come out eventually.

Anyone else here getting Destiny? Yeah I'll be getting it, sucks it's not on PC, but I'll be playing on PS4. Much rather play on PC though.
