Coming from the whitest guy you can think of.. I applaud Kap for standing up for what he thinks is a unjustice. I think everyone is overreacting to his "action" and not really focusing on his "message". And some of the reactions to it are so damn laughable they shouldn't even be discussed like they have been. lol

i personally think there are better ways than to sit out on the national anthem to get your message across.

i personally think there are better ways than to sit out on the national anthem to get your message across. Such as? And just to say, I'm not necessarily disagreeing with what you're saying, just... we've seen athletes do a lot of shit this year for the same purpose, nothing has stuck. This did, everyone is talking about it, a week later. Hell more players are sitting for it taking up with Kap for this.

He's free to do what he wants, but I think it's disrespectful. I understand his intentions, but what does not standing for the allegiance at a football game accomplish? All he's managed to do is create controversy and further divide people with their bullshit bickering. I don't feel like sitting for the allegiance can lead to positive change. If anything, it'll lead to more people disrespecting the flag and the allegiance and create a further rift, especially if impressionable kids and teens latch on to it. And the pig socks are just immature. If he was in a situation where he needed help, what would he do? Call 911. I like that's he's donating and working with charities and I do think he's wanting to make a change, but I think the way he's going about it is only creating a negative effect.

Titans cut bishop sankey and justin hunter. With Dorial Green-Beckham, that's 3 former 2nd round picks we got rid of. Sankey and Hunter weren't working out, but man our drafting was shite.

Here's my thing. I might be biased because I'm a Raiders fan, and I have always had an issue with Kaep and how he handle being a "franchise qb". So to see Kaep all of a sudden go from shoe's, cars, abs, to go all SJW on folks, I looked it this with raised eyebrows. Knowing the career of Colin Kaepernick, the guy is a rebellious type of guy by nature, as we saw with his press conferences, and his unwillingness to actually learn the quarterback position at the NFL level. And now, with his career in jeopardy, I find it highly suspect that he all of a sudden cares about these causes. I wholeheartedly have no problem with the protest, the way he protested, and his message. I just highly question the messenger, because where he's at in his career. This is the same guy that quit on the team last season when he got benched. This is the same guy that got with Aldon's ex girl behind his back, and tore the team apart because of it. He never took on the leadership role as a NFL QB should. And as the leader, to not let your team know what you're going to do, which will be a distraction as a team, tells me he still doesn't get it. I want to see what he will do after this. I think he has identity issues right now, and as a black man, and probably other black people will attest to, we've all been through this phase of awakening in our lives. For Kaep, he's doing it late in his life, and in front of the whole world. I think his girlfriend is influencing greatly. He's a vegan now, which as an NFL player, is not conducive to your profession. And he's converted to Islam (from Christianity) which people tend to figure out what they want earlier in their lives. This is a guy who has bible verses tattooed on him. Nothing wrong with his conversion, but just gives me a window into his psyche, and how he's easily influenced.
So basically, I'm just looking at the man, and while I support his cause as I've had for as long as I can remember, I want to see what he does next before I hop the Hero Kaepernick bandwagon, as I've had previous issue of character with Kaep, and because he stands for a righteous cause, doesn't just alleviate the questions I've had about him before all of this. I want to see how committed he is for the cause, and not just doing things because twitter and his girlfriend are telling him to.

And read his interview from last night, or watch it. Hes well spoken and ready to take the beating, that he has already. He altered what he was doing because he was mindful of the disrespect. Plus donating 1million is pretty amazing. I don't disagree with your sentiments. I was suspicious until last night that he was just doing it for attention.

I've talked myself into not hating it for the Vikings. If they believe they are a superbowl contender at every other facet, they need an average to above average QB then this isn't a bad deal for them. Still Philly got way more than ANYONE thought they should, awesome deal for them. That said, really sucks for Minny they are in this position. Poor Teddy

Minnesotas pass protection was a disaster last season...if it's anything like that, Bradford won't make it to October.

Man good to have football back. Games I watched:
-Very happy with the Texans. Brock looks legit, once he gets in sync with Fuller...damn that offense could be insane. -Jags lost in terrible fashion. A screen pass on 4th and 1? -Dak Prescott looked legit. -Pats with the win without Brady. FU to the NFL.
