You were spot on from my perspective anyway. Also, Breaking Bad is number 1 for me, too. I still would like to see how Thrones finishes up, BUT I think it'll be hard for anything to pass BB. It's literally perfect. Ozymandias is the best episode ever aired IMO. Good listen, Dan.

'Thrones' is amazing but no episode has ever devastated me quite like "Ozymandias". Couldn't have said it better myself.

Haven't listened yet, but I remember when Stadium Arcadium came out. I had a job where I was sitting in a room at an instrument all day long and hated my co-worker so I had my headphones in constantly. That album is one of my favorite all time, at least sonically speaking. Frusciante is just a fucking BEAST on that album, his best work IMO. Some will say it's too radio-friendly or poppy, but that thing covers SO much space musically speaking, its wild.
I have always thought that where you catch an album, in terms of your life, can really influence how it strikes you, and I caught that one just right. It was my first real job, I think I made $27k and I thought I was RICH BITCH. Times were good!
Now I am gonna go play 'Turn It Again' very loud.

I was like 16/17 when this album came out (29 now). "Wet Sand" is my #2 favorite song of theirs ("Venice Queen" off of "By the Way" is their best IMO). But you're dead-on, Frusciante is absolutely on fire for this entire album. Not only that, Kiedis' writing is ridiculously good - the best its ever been IMO. The album is a tad bloated, but it's an incredible work of art overall. Love it. Also, "Turn It Again" is amazing and the solo at the end is ALMOST as good as the one at the end of "Wet Sand".
