We had a pretty bad loss to a not so good team (idc about their record) tbh
But I think Jason Peters might need to retire. He was atrocious along with (surprisingly) Lane Johnson. O line was just not good enough

Giants didn't convert a single 3rd down in their game vs. Panthers and STILL almost won. Was reading an advance stats article and apparently the Giants have the most negative offensive plays in the league. Not surprising. They would be better off taking a knee and just punting on a few possessions LOL.

Welp, Giants had multiple chances to win last night and just seem incapable of playing well for more than 2 downs in a row. One absolutely insane fucking int to start the game, with the ball bouncing sideways directly into....YOU GUESSED IT! the arms of an eagle defender who was standing around. 7-0 right out of the gate and knuckle draggers booing Eli b/c a TE who wasn't even on the roster to start the year muffed an easy catch. Good call guys.
Later on Wentz tossed one into the literal breadbasket of one of our LBs and guess what happened! He boots it and it bounces directly to!!!! Another Eagles player standing around uninvolved in the play! You can't make this shit up.
Probably my favorite moment of the night, something I have never seen before, but I saw on twitter it's been a rule for 5 years but has only been done a handful of time, but I swear I have never seen it. Eagles player fumbles, clearly. Then a scrum ensues. When they pick up the bodies the Giants have it, great, a much needed TO. Not so fast! They review it and say that they can clearly see him recover it before the scrum and he was down so Eagles ball. I agree, the replay does appear to show him covering it back up before the scrum ensues, but I have just never seen that replayed and over turned. Seen plenty of replays to say whether it was a fumble or not, but generally it always seemed like once the scrum ensued it was basically every man for himself and whoever came out with it got the ball.
Oh well. Eli's time is clearly over, but I am not sure that throwing one of the young QBs out there is a great idea. Will be an interesting rest of the season.

Eagles are just better. But again, they played a shitfest of a team besides Saquon/Odell

Great article on the Athletic today about the Giants drafts from 2010-2017 and my god, it's amazing one team could shit the bed so many times in a row. In FA as well, signing JPP (and OBJ). Just complete fuck ups at every possible step.

I think at this point you got Saints, Rams, Chiefs as the clear front runners. But Steelers and Pats will be there in January.
