But the reality is the MVP award is for best QB and best Offensive player award is for non-QB’s. He will get that one. I mean yeah. The reality is QB typically wins because they influence a game more than anyone, but in what world can we say this season a QB deserves one? There’s simply no QB who has elevated his team. CMC is clearly the best player this season and is the driving force of that team by a mile. |

Weird take as to why you guys suck so badly as of late Oh sure, there have been some misses since then for sure, but taking a RB at #2 when we clearly needed a new QB was a colossal fuck up. I mean, some of the OL picks haven't been great, but I can deal with that. You don't really know how picks are gonna pan out, you do the best you can. But NO ONE thought taking a RB at #2 was a worth while pick. And then the Jones reach obviously sucked. Looking at re-drafts is VERY painful for Giants fans lol. |

A RB when you're not ready to compete that early is always stupid. What it does do though is give the fans something to take pressure off management so they can pull the "We're a QB away" card. Also, need a line to keep said RB from getting injured in a short career position. Falcons may soon be in the same position but they'll possibly get a wild card appearance out of it. |

I mean, the Giants made the playoffs, and won a game! But I still feel like it was the wrong move at the time. Saquan is gonna have a weird career. I am sure he will sign with like...the fucking Eagles this offseason or something.
NFL combine is gonna be pretty insane this year with 5 (or more) QBs going in the first round.

Yeah I mean Barkley was a poor pick but I don't really know that anything else changes the trajectory of the team when the Giants have whiffed badly on drafts. Gotta remember that Josh Allen picked that high was kind of made fun of and seen like a reach. It looks bad now cuz hes awesome obviously but Barkley is/was really pretty damn good. It was a reach then its a reach now, but like Steve said you can't miss on the next several picks and then point to the guy who was actually good as the issue.
