Yeah, that kind of blows. But, given where they are at, time-line wise, they could maybe take a guy with a lower ceiling, but more ready to contribute compared to some other teams picking ahead of them.

Damn, Wes you were bang on with that call. Not mad about this outcome to be honest... Thunder would have taken him if we didn't get him at 9, and I think he'll be able to do the things we need him to do, and do them well.

Was looking for us to move up and take Clingan, but don't mind Edey. I don't watch college ball any more, so can't say we should have taken player X over him, but he fills a need. He went higher than projections, but this was a mid draft anyway. Combine bumped his stock.
