Sim League Experience:
I guess I've been in leagues for over 2 years now...wow. I've been apart of a lot of terrible sim leagues, and a few very good sim leagues, but SLOX has been without a doubt the best.
Current Leagues:
SLOX
UBA RETRO
Why do you like sim leagues?
I like the realism sim leagues provide, as they are far superior to fantasy leagues in my opinion. They give you an in depth look in basketball and the strategy involved in sim leagues is always fun. I also love trading as all of you know
Accomplishments--any titles?
-Nope, still none. Haven't even been past the first round in SLOX, but hopefully that changes. I have gotten to the conference finals a number of times in some other leagues, been to 1 final, and have won the lotter twice. I also one the gm of the year award in my other league after transforming an old team that was 2-15 without their pick into a young team with their pick...and we are now just over .500.
What kind of gm do you consider yourself as?
-In all honesty, I don't think I'm a great gm by any stretch of the imagination. I'd have to say my strengths as a gm is the ability to negotiate, the ability to get out of messes very easily, and I don't really have any enemies on the boards which I guess is a good thing. I'm sure everyone knows my weaknesses--i trade way too much, and i get INTO messes very easily ....I think I'm a better gm when the team sucks and I have to rebuild.
