Bench. He is only like 20. He isnt ready to start if Clippers are serious about playoffs. 2-3 years Cassell plays then retires and livi comes in and starts. I dont see Clippers dealing him

great deal for the clips - all they're lacking is a veteren PG to distribute the ball.
The 8 spot in the west just got tougher for the warriors to get next year

Putting Livingston on the bench for a year or two was a really wise move if they can get a point guard like Cassell. Wait...Clippers being wise?

Sam Cassell flatulates!
''They're going to be at the bottom again,'' Cassell said of the Wolves, going so far as predicting the Wolves will finish below the Clippers this year.
''I know for a fact that Kevin Garnett is disappointed. Kevin wants some guys he can go to war with.''
As for his replacement in Minnesota, Marko Jaric, he didn't hold back. ''If they think Marko Jaric is a replacement for me, they're out of their minds,'' Cassell said of the Wolves management. ''I'm happy for him. I'm happy he got paid. But that's not an upgrade. As players, we know.''

shawn does have POT. But i would start sam 4 now Is it so hard to type out "potential"? ;D For real though, it probably depends on the Clippers goal for this season. Is it to make the playoffs? If so, you'd have to think Cassell would start, especially since Livingston missed so much time last year. And with Cassell on board to go with Maggette and Brand...how can the Clippers even think of next year already?

I heard on ESPN radio the other day that Cassell is already threatening to holdout if he doesn't get a new contract.

That was on ESPN news too. Yet another reason to start livi.
