I haven't been paying any attention to TV since the strike My favorite shows are the entourage, the office, house, and 24...although i lost interest in 24 after (IMO) a disappointing last season Entourage is the shit. Is it coming back this year cause it's been awhile. Were there any pre-strike episodes made?

Anyone been watching prison brek since its been back on , and doesnt anyone know if it will be cut short because of the writers strike??? Without giving away whats happened in the new year.
Gotta agree with you Chang, Entourage is easy my number one show on TV, I was dissapointed with how things went in season 4 tho. If they can get the vibe of the show back towards the first 3 seasons i'll be happy. I've spoken to Madman about this and he dosnt agree with me but I think a little less Ari Gold is needed - I love the guy but hes made too many appearances in season 4

I love Ari Gold but I wouldn't mind seeing a bit less cause when made Ari awesome was his humor in the few scenes he was in.
Jeremy Piven is the best actor on cable (besides possibly Monk's Tony Shaloub).

Entourage rules, but LOST is definitely the best show on TV right now, and it isn't even close. For comedies, The Office is great, but Scrubs is one of my all-time favorites, even though they're running out of ideas. I really need to check out The Wire. I've heard from so many different people now that it's the greatest show they've ever seen.
P.S. - Did anyone watch Journeyman? I really liked that show, but apparently it's not coming back.

One show I can't believe that I haven't mentioned is the Shield. The Shield is just as good, if not better than Wire IMO. You talk about a fucked up show. These cops are so fucked up, but what the shows make you battle with is are they crooked, or just a product of their environment. Some of the most fucked shit I've seen on TV has been on the Shield. That is a definite must see. And Vic Mackey is the best character on TV. Period.
btw, here my to 10 TV list:
1.24 2.The Shield 3. Nip/Tuck 4. Lost 5. Friday Night Lights 6. Heroes 7. The 4400 8. Jericho 9. The Sopranos 10. VH1 Dating shows (flavor of love, rock of love, I love NY)
This is just off the top of my head.

I really liked that show, but apparently it's not coming back. i only saw one episode of journeyman and liked it very much. entertaining for sure; i liked the lead character. seriously - the wire really is the best drama i've ever seen for a TV show.

My top 10 favorite shows right now
1. How I Met Your Mother 2. House 3. Entourage 4. NCIS 5. Monk 6. Friday Night Lights 7. The Office 8. Chuck 9. 30 Rock 10. Lost
Missed cut: Heroes, The 4400, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Avatar: The Last Airbender
A lot of those shows I don't watch at their programmed time though or I just watch occasionally (only HIMYM, House, and NCIS do I always remember to watch weekly). Oh the power of DVDs.
All time... MacGyver's gotta be up there. Spooks/MI-5 (Tom Quinn era) on BBC. Seinfeld. I don't think that needs an explanation. The West Wing (the random episodes I watch) was excellent. As was Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip but it didn't have a chance. Veronica Mars was a favorite.
Yeah, I watch mostly modern stuff.

Possibly. If you watch a lot of ABC shows, I rarely ever watch that channel. And Fox (besides House). CBS and NBC are the powerhouses to me even though NBC is the lowest of the big 4.
Oh yeah I forgot Mythbusters, Man vs. Wild in my Missed cut

Thank god some people are watching The Wire. I started watching it last year and really it's deeper than anything you'll see on TV.
Some other shows worth watching: Extras, Dexter, Californication
