TMac flat out airballed it, no foul, should've designed a better play out of the timeout
Flip was so cheap, he played the Pistons like the entire 2nd half so thats why they won.
*cough biased cough*

James is the youngest MVP ever. I think he's the only one who didn't care about McGrady and him jacking up shots for the MVP in his home city. Billups also had a nice game with 15 points and 7 assists.

From the Detroit Free Press........
Each of the Pistons' All-Stars wrote No. 22 on their sneakers before the game got under way as a tribute to Tayshaun Prince.
Prince spent the All-Star break away in the Bahamas. "I am (jealous)," Wallace said. "Because I know he's somewhere about to watch the game tonight, probably got a couple of cocktails." The Pistons enter the break with the best home record (23-2) and road record (19-7).

avery johnson stinks.
heard that before the all-star game, west coach avery johnson said on NBA TV that he was going to play all his 7-footers with kevin garnett running the point when the east decides to play all the pistons.
So we would have seen a lineup of:
billups hamilton rasheed wallace ben wallace 5th player
vs.
garnett gasol dirk duncan ming
needless to say...he didn't do it. too bad.

Yeah, that was disappointing.
I was watching the Pro Bowl and they had this "fans pick a play thing." They picked a HB pass, so Tomlinson was going to throw it. Well, McNair fumbled the snap and the play never happened. Damn All Star Games

From the Washington Post...
Arenas said the "jitters" that caused him to score just seven points on 3-of-11 shooting in his all-star debut last year were gone, and guaranteed a much better showing the second time around.
However, Arenas ended up scoring just one point. He enjoyed his second appearance, though, especially finishing second in the three-point shootout on Saturday. "I didn't finish last," Arenas said. "Last year in the skills competition, I finished dead last."
He was asked if he would participate in the slam dunk contest next season. "Me dunking?" Arenas asked. "Whoever was dunking against me automatically won. I don't have no creativity on dunks. I can do very, very talented layups. If they have a layup competition, I got that."
Arenas didn't do a dance when he was introduced before the game (as a forward) -- he politely waved to the crowd at Toyota Center -- as he did last season, when he took off his warmup jersey and twirled it above his head. Arenas said that last season, Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal bet him $10,000 that he wouldn't do it.
O'Neal still hasn't paid him, Arenas said. "I'm taking him to 'People's Court,' " he said.
